Prague - Arrive in Prague. Before the evening orientation with the Tour Director and fellow travelers, there is an opportunity to explore Prague’s historic center independently. Enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation in the evening.

Prague, Historical Center

Prague - Take a guided tour through the UNESCO-listed historical center, including the National Museum, Wenceslas Square, and Old Town Square, home to the world’s oldest functioning Astronomical Clock. Stroll along Parizska Street and enjoy a boat cruise offering stunning views of the Vltava River banks in the evening light.

From Prague to Holašovice and Český Krumlov

Prague Castle - Begin the day with a walk across the beautiful Charles Bridge, take a cable car to Petrin Hill for a panoramic view of Prague, and visit Prague Castle, all located on the left bank of the Vltava River.

Holašovice - In the afternoon, transfer to Český Krumlov with a stop in the village of Holašovice, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the village’s charming architecture, known as Peasant Baroque, and spend time exploring the village, observing the locals, and imagining life here throughout history.

Český Krumlov - Enjoy an evening visit to the historical center of Český Krumlov.

Český Krumlov, Telč, and Třebíč - 3 UNESCO Jewels

Český Krumlov - Spend the morning visiting the city center, nestled in the meandering Vltava River and protected as a UNESCO heritage site. Explore cobblestone streets, charming small houses, a traditional market, and visit the Castle and gardens.

Telč - Travel from Český Krumlov to Telč, a fairy-tale town in Moravia. The town center, inscribed on the UNESCO Heritage List in 1992, is an architectural gem. Although its history dates back to the 12th century, a major fire in the 16th century led to the renovation of the city center, resulting in the Telč Château and beautiful Renaissance and Baroque houses with arcades and richly decorated gables on the main square.

Třebíč - Transfer to the UNESCO town of Třebíč for a tour of the Třebíč Jewish Quarter and the Basilica, a unique example of the coexistence of Christian and Jewish cultures from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The Basilica of St. Procopius, originally part of a Benedictine monastery built in the early 13th century, was influenced by Western European architectural ideas.

Medieval Town Kutná Hora with Famous Bone Church and Pilgrimage Church of Saint John of Nepomuk

Kutná Hora - Continue to another UNESCO gem of Czechia – Kutná Hora. The visit begins with The Sedlec Ossuary, a truly unique and impressive bone church. Also visit the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady and St. John the Baptist in Sedlec, which began construction in 1290 and combines French Gothic architecture with German elements.

The highlight is the Cathedral of St. Barbara, the symbol of Kutná Hora and a jewel of Late Gothic architecture. Its grandeur is a testament to the fame and wealth of the silver town of Kutná Hora and the deep devotion of its creators. Evening transfer back to Prague.
