One of the key attractions is the Ghetto Museum, which is dedicated to the history of the Theresienstadt Ghetto, a Jewish ghetto and transit camp established by the Nazis during World War II. The museum hosts two permanent exhibitions: the Children’s Memorial Hall, which commemorates the ghetto’s children with their names, poems, and drawings displayed on the walls, and Terezín in the Final Solution, an exhibition on the first floor that explores the onset of Jewish persecution in the Protectorate, life in the ghetto, and the deportations to labor and extermination camps.

Tickets for the Museum can be purchased on-site by card, which is more economical.

• Terezin - In addition to the Ghetto Museum, our driver-guide will also show you other areas of the Main Fortress:

• Mala Pevnost (Small Fortress) - The Small Fortress was used as a prison by the Prague Gestapo for opponents of the Nazi regime from 1940 to 1945. During the tour, you will visit guard offices, prison cells, showers, a sick room, hospital, and execution site. Part of the tour includes a 500-meter-long corridor showcasing former fortifications (you may skip the tunnel if preferred). The Small Fortress tour is typically led by a local guide.
