- Lidice Memorial - The Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia led to a tragic event in the village of Lidice, where the Nazis mistakenly believed resistance partisans were hiding. The tragedy for this small village and its 503 residents began on June 10, 1942, shortly after midnight. Lidice was destroyed on the orders of Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, as retaliation for the assassination of Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich in May 1942. The village’s destruction is documented in a film made by those who committed the crime. Portions of this film are shown at the Lidice Museum. Overlooking the site of the old village are 82 bronze statues of children who were murdered at Chełmno during the summer of 1942. The memorial area is connected to the new village by an avenue of linden trees. In 1955, a rosarium with 29,000 rose bushes was established beside the linden avenue.

- Terezin - Take a 1-hour lunch break (lunch not included).
- Mala Pevnost (Small Fortress) - The Small Fortress served as a prison for the Prague Gestapo, holding opponents of the Nazi regime from 1940 to 1945. During the tour, visitors can see guard offices, prison cells, showers, a sick room, a hospital, and an execution site. Part of the tour includes a 500-meter-long corridor showcasing former fortifications (the tunnel can be skipped if desired). A local tour guide typically conducts the Small Fortress tour.
Tickets for the Small Fortress can be purchased on-site by card, which is more economical.
- Hlavni Pevnost (Main Fortress) - An experienced driver-guide will lead a tour of the Main Fortress, the former Jewish Ghetto.
One of the main attractions is the Ghetto Museum, dedicated to the history of the Theresienstadt Ghetto, a Nazi-established Jewish ghetto and transit camp during World War II. The museum features two permanent exhibitions: the Children’s Memorial Hall, which honors the ghetto’s children with their names, poems, and drawings displayed on the walls, and “Terezín in the Final Solution,” an exhibition on the first floor detailing the persecution of Jews in the Protectorate, the establishment and life in the ghetto, and the transports to labor and extermination camps.
Tickets for the Museum can be purchased on-site by card, which is more economical.
