• Kyparissia - Germasogeia Dam Nature Trail - The Kyparissia area, known for its abundance of cypress trees, is one of the few places in Cyprus with such a high concentration. The trail begins just a thirty-minute drive from Limassol and offers stunning views, particularly of the sea, from distances of less than eight kilometers in some areas. Along the path, hikers will also encounter numerous Calabrian pines and a variety of other native plant species. The trail is renowned for its breathtaking vistas, with many sections providing uninterrupted views of the coastline and the manmade Germasogeia lake, which is less than three kilometers away from certain points on the trail. To the northwest, hikers can enjoy views of multiple peaks, layered one behind the other. This route is ideal for those who prefer not to venture far from Limassol. With an elevation ranging from 500 to 700 meters, this short walk is also pleasant during the summer, especially if undertaken away from the midday heat.
