- Fantastic Family-Friendly Excursion with Ensenada Excursions Tours and Driver Enrique This review is for both Ensenada Excursions and Tours and our amazing driver, Enrique. I visited Ensenada with my family of five and, after doing lots of research, decided to book with Ensenada Excursions and Tours—and I’m so glad I did. From the start, the customer service was excellent. I had many questions, and the owner was incredibly responsive through WhatsApp. He guided me clearly on how to book, what to expect, and gave detailed pricing, which I really appreciated. Once we got off the cruise ship, the instructions were very easy to follow. We immediately found our tour guide holding a sign with our name and picture, just as promised. He was super friendly and welcoming. While he didn’t speak English (which was fine since I speak Spanish), it did mean I had to translate for my kids . Still, it wasn’t a problem at all—he was very kind and made the experience feel personal and informative. Our first stop was the Pai Pai Zoo, where we stayed for about two hours. Enrique waited for us patiently in the lobby the entire time. Afterward, he took us to La Bufadora and walked with us through the shopping area, helping us talk to local vendors and even negotiate prices. We offered to buy him lunch as a thank-you, and although he politely declined, the restaurant still served him, which we thought was incredibly kind. What stood out the most was how safe and cared for we felt. Enrique explained everything along the way, didn’t rush us at all, and made sure we got back to the cruise port with plenty of time to spare. If you’re traveling with family and want a trustworthy, friendly, and reliable excursion service, I highly recommend Ensenada Excursions and Tours. I will absolutely use them again in the future!

You won’t be disappointed! - Amazing experience!! Our tour guide, I believe his name is Juan Carlos was fabulous, we told him what we wanted to see and do after the Pai Pai experience and he made it happen. No problem. Pai Pai is absolutely AMAZING - animal experience like NO OTHER. I wish I could visit everyday! La Bufadora and the shopping along the way was really neat as well. Definitely can’t wait to return!!

Great Experience! - The zoo was nothing like we have in the states, with lots of activities that let you interact with the animals. Very hospitable staff! Bar on sit with very yummy drinks! A huge bonus was that our driver, Chuy, was amazing!

A nice, chill afternoon with unique animal encounters - The zoo/animal part of Pai Pai was very chill and relaxing, but enjoyable. We got to interact (usually hold, but sometimes just pet) with several animals in their petting zoo, including bunnies, pigs, capybaras, goats (including a tiny 3-day old baby), miniature ponies, and a cow. We also got the chance to feed some monkeys, and finally pet a jaguar! They also had the "surprise animal" experience, where they had three smaller animals that they brought out as "surprises" for people to pet and hold. One thing we wish we knew from the start is that the "surprise animal" experience happens only on a schedule; you can't do it just anytime. Because we didn't know this, we ended up cutting really close to our all-aboard time for our cruise. So if you go, make sure to ask about their schedule and plan accordingly!

A do- not- miss experience. - An amazing experience! We played with and fed Jaguars, petted baby Jaguars, capybaras, bunnies, monkeys, and more. The kids (7 & 8 yo) loved every minute.

Great drivers and guide! - We arrived to Ensenada by cruise ship. We had Genaro and Guillermo as our drivers, but Genaro was also our guide. We were a group of 11 so we had to split up into 2 vans. We only expected them to drop us off at each location and wait, but Genaro stayed with us during our visit to La Bufadora. We are so glad he did! We told him what we were looking for or wanted to do and he took us to the places he recommended. The best food and the best deals! No better recommendations than those from a local! We also visited Pai Pai Safari Park. It was okay. We had to pay extra to do the one activity we all really wanted to do, which was to visit with a baby tiger, but that is no reflection on the service we received from Genaro and Guillermo. I would highly recommend booking them as your private transportation! They even made a point to get us back on board in time and as close to the ship as possible.

Great Experience! - Willie was super nice , professional and accommodating and informative of the town all the way to pai pai. The zoo was a great experience that we would never get at any San Diego or LA zoo. We had a great time and it was the best bang for our buck!

Totally worth it - Had a great time. Lots of variety of animals and experiences. Paid for the extra experiences and wish we could have more time.

Beware - That the price in your advertising is for transportation only! The entrance fee of $28 is a fair price but the price of $75 to actually do the things on the advertisement is misleading. $54 +$28 should be listed as well as the $75 for the rest of the items listed.
