Great full day sightseeing trip if travelling Phenom Penh to Siem Reap. - We had a fantastic private transfer from Phenom Penh to Siem Reap with our driver Daro. Daro picket us up from our hotel and we were impressed by his very luxurious car! Our first stop was Skun Market where Daro suggested we tried insects, and I ate a crispy fried tarantula! Next stop was Sambor Prei Kul Temple Site - a little visited site that pre-dates Angkor Wat, and was part of a Hindu complex. Our lovely guide Soun took us around - she was very knowledgeable. She was also very professional and calm when my husband became ill suddenly and we had to get him sorted. Once that was done we got back on our way driving through countryside abs small towns. We stopped at the Kampong Deki Bridge (oldest in Cambodia) and then to the final stop - Kampong Kleang fishing village. All the houses are on really high stilts to protect them from the vast floods in the rainy season. We took a boat ride along the river and onto the lake, where we saw more floating houses. The town is fascinating to see, and we watched fishermen returning home after their working day. Daro dropped us off at our hotel safely in the early evening. It was a fascinating day. We would highly recommend taking the transfer with sightseeing if you are going from Phenom Penh to Siem Reap.

A Memorable Journey Through Cambodia with Heng T. - We had an amazing experience with our guide, Heng T.! He picked us up from our hotel and immediately made us feel welcome. It was just the two of us and our small child, and Heng took excellent care of us throughout the trip. He was incredibly kind and attentive, giving us the freedom to explore at each stop and adjusting the journey to suit our needs. We’re so glad we chose this company for our trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Thanks to Heng, we got to experience Cambodia up close. We stopped at the spider market (the dried fruit was delicious, though we weren’t brave enough to try the grilled spiders!). Sambor Prei Kuk was stunning – a complex of old and fascinating temples, and the tour was conducted by local guides who added a lot of insight. The ancient bridge was also a highlight for us, and the final stop at the lake was unforgettable. The boat ride and the tour of the floating village at sunset were simply amazing. A huge thank you to Heng for providing us with such a wonderful experience. Besides being incredibly friendly, he’s also an excellent driver, and we always felt safe on the roads with him. I highly recommend this tour – it was definitely worth it!

Great way to combine sightseeing and a transfer from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. - We travelled door-to-door from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with our very good English speaking driver Thearak. Along the way we made a number of sight seeing and comfort stops. The roads were very nice and weren’t too busy so we kept moving. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history. We were pleased we drove rather than flew as we saw parts of Cambodia that we would never had seen, it really was an eye opening experience. If you stop at all the optional stops/sites, as we did, it took about 11 hours but that could be shortened.

Transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh - We were messaged the day before to confirm final details for our transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. All in all a really excellent experience, our English speaking driver, Kosal was superb we felt safe throughout the trip, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and responsive, pointing out places of interest along the way and always happy to stop for photos, comfort breaks or food stops etc. The places we visited on our journey were Kompong Khleang village (boat trip just over 1hour and Kosal tagged along to act as translator) Kampong Kedi bridge, we only needed 5minutes for photos and the Spider Market (just 10minutes at our request) where Kosal acted as a guide. Other destinations were offered but we declined. Overall (including stops) the journey time was 10hours, well worth it! Experiences we would have missed had we taken a flight.

Siam Reap to Phnom Penh driving tour - We enjoyed an interesting day at the floating fishing village and market. The second stop at the ancient temples was extremely interesting and peaceful. Our driver and guide Ratana was respectful, polite and informative about the local culture and he made us laugh (and squirm) when he took us to Skun spider market!

A Memorable Journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with Mr. Therak - During our trip to Cambodia, we needed a driver to take us from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. After some research, we chose the services of Mr. Therak, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The journey was not just a drive but an enriching experience, as we made several interesting stops along the way: Skun Market: Known for its exotic offerings, including fried tarantulas and other unusual delicacies, this market is a unique slice of Cambodian culture. It’s not for the faint of heart but offers a fascinating look into local culinary traditions. Sambor Prei Kuk Temple: This ancient site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a stunning collection of pre-Angkorian temples nestled in the forest. The intricate carvings and serene atmosphere made it a highlight of the trip. The Ancient Bridge at Kampong Kdei: A marvel of Khmer engineering, this centuries-old laterite bridge was once part of the royal road connecting the empire’s important cities. It’s a testament to the skill and ingenuity of ancient Khmer builders. Kampong Phluk Fishing Village: Situated on the Tonlé Sap Lake, this charming village offers a glimpse into the unique lifestyle of Cambodia’s floating communities. The stilted houses and the sight of fishermen at work made it a picturesque and insightful stop. Throughout the journey, Mr. Therak’s service was exceptional. His fluent English made communication easy, and his conversations enriched our understanding of Cambodia’s culture and history. He paid great attention to details, ensuring that we were comfortable and that our experience was seamless. Most importantly, we always felt safe during the trip. His driving was smooth and professional, and he showed great care in planning the journey to accommodate our needs and interests. If you’re planning a trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, I highly recommend reaching out to Mr. Therak. He turned what could have been just a long drive into one of the most memorable parts of our Cambodian adventure.

local culture and impressive sights between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh - It's a great way to go from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Our driver GG was a subsitite but he was great. He was very authentic and told us many things about locals. He really did his best to make our trip enjoyable 👍 The visit to Kampong Khleang fishing village and Sambor Pru Kei were quite impressive, and very few tourists currently. We also got to try some local delicacies along the way, like bamboo sticky rice, smoked fish and fried tarantula (which we politely declined)
