A friendly driver will pick up guests from their Zhengzhou hotel in the early morning and transport them approximately 3 hours to Guoliang Village and the Guoliang Tunnel Road. Guoliang Village is a small Chinese village located high in the Taihang Mountains of Henan Province. Perched on steep and rugged mountains at an elevation of 1000 meters, the village is known for its stone craftsmanship. The road was constructed in 1972 by 13 determined villagers using hand tools, who carved a path down the canyon side. It took five years to complete, and the village has since become a renowned tourist destination. The road is remarkable, featuring tunnels and a leveled cliff face, and extends about a mile. Upon arrival, the driver will assist with purchasing tickets. Guests can then explore the distinctive village independently and enjoy lunch there if desired. Afterwards, they will meet the driver at the drop-off point for the return trip to their Zhengzhou hotel.
