One of the highlights is watching the charming pandas as they engage in amusing antics while eating and playing. Be sure to have your camera ready!
Following the panda visit, the journey continues to the Leshan Giant Buddha. Along the way, enjoy the scenic countryside of the western Chengdu Plains. Upon arrival in Leshan city, a delightful Sichuan-style lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterward, proceed to Linyun Mountain, home to the Leshan Giant Buddha. This is the largest cliff-carved Buddha statue in a sitting position, standing at an impressive 71 meters tall. You can choose to either hike in the Giant Buddha park for 3 hours or take a 0.5-hour boat tour to admire the Giant Buddha. If you opt for the hike, you will walk along the zig-zagging path leading to the foot of the Giant Buddha statue. Alternatively, the boat tour offers an easier way to view the Buddha.
In the afternoon, return to Xishu Garden Inn.
