• Saint Maria Church of Leuse - Leusë is a quaint village situated a few kilometers from Permet, featuring several stone-built houses. It is also home to the Church of Saint Mary, a true artistic treasure. The church boasts remarkable murals from the Byzantine era, showcasing stunning examples of Byzantine religious art.

The facade resembles a monastery, while the interior is reminiscent of a temple. Constructed in a basilica style at the end of the 18th century, the church features a painted inscription above its entrance gate, honoring the craftsmanship of its creators. The mural paintings were completed in 1812, and the intricately carved walnut iconostasis dates back to 1817. Both the frescoes and iconostasis hold significant artistic value. The scenes and wooden compositions illustrate biblical stories and natural imagery, with exceptional style and craftsmanship evident in the exquisite door and the entire frame of the iconostasis.

• Fir of Hotova National Park - Fir of Hotova is a national park located in southern Albania, within the Permet region, and is the largest national park in Albania. Covering an area of 34,361 hectares, it is known as the natural lungs of Southern Albania.

The park offers breathtaking views from the Lumica Valley entrance up to the summit of Kokojka Mountain. At elevations of 800-1000 meters, expansive meadows are surrounded by ancient, towering trees forming a vast greenbelt. In winter, visitors can admire the snow-covered firs, while in summer, the park provides a refreshing escape from the Albanian heat. Fresh water is available from roadside fountains along the way.
The park’s flora includes maple, black hornbeam, ilex, red and black juniper, raspberry, and more. Its fauna features brown bears, wolves, foxes, wild boars, hares, squirrels, wild goats, and more. Deer can also be spotted grazing in the pastures deep within the forest.

• Benja Thermal Baths - The Benja thermal baths are the most visited attraction in Permet, located at Lengarica Canyon. Visitors can explore the canyon from within or above and unwind at the thermal baths afterward. Pools are available both in front of and inside the canyon.
