Discover Mount Bromo and the largest caldera in Indonesia, the Tengger Caldera, which originates from Mount Tengger.

You will be picked up from your hotel or the train station in Malang city at 1 am, then head south for a one-hour drive. Upon arrival at our hub, you will transfer to a 4x4 vehicle and proceed to Bromo Semeru Tengger National Park. Your first stop is Prahu Hill, a vantage point on the Tengger Caldera offering views of Mount Bromo, Bukit Batok, Widodaren, and Mount Semeru.

At 6 am, descend to the sea of sand within the Tengger Caldera for a photo session with Widodaren Hill as the backdrop. Around 6:30 am, the ascent to Mount Bromo begins. You will walk for 1.5 km, with 60% of the trail being flat on sand and the remaining 40% uphill, gaining approximately 129 meters in elevation from the starting point to the summit (2,137-2,266 meters). The highest point of Mount Bromo’s caldera is 2,329 meters. Before reaching the top, you will need to climb stairs.
