Michelle - The Superhero of TABA Dive Centre - I cannot praise TABA highly enough. Whilst I'm an experienced freediver and spearo, my partner isn't a strong swimmer and hadn't scuba dived before - and he became a little terrified when going through the first immersion and getting used to breathing underwater. That's where Superhero Michelle came in. She's the most patient, understanding instructor anyone could ever hope for. Whilst I was belly to the seafloor, concentrating on my breathing at rest, she was assisting my partner so calmly until we were both under the water and feeding fish from our hands. Michelle has inspired me to go back and continue doing my PADI courses so I can do the same for others. I cannot thank you enough. All of the team are spectacular - If you go anywhere in this part of Cyprus to dive, please use TABA. Oh - and make sure you get yourself one of Manuel's crochet cuties before you leave! (I recommend an octopus.)

Refresh - Once again the team at taba didn’t disappoint, full of enthusiasm and good spirits, and smiling faces. Some even with toothache 😩. I went for multiple dives whilst staying in protoras, the first 2 we visited Green Bay. Good for me to regain the skill set . Here we mooched around the seabed searching for shells and local fish species including sea urchins, sponge, crab. My third dive was over near cape Greco ( this was my fave) . Gear up then carefully step down to the sea shelf which is just under water ( depending upon the swell and wind etc) there are hand rails and steps to assist if needed. Roll back into the water and were away woohoo, crystal clear water, searching for sea critters, there are swim throughs here which are fun, filled with lion fish, cave fish, starfish, a truly amazing world to see and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I will upload some photos for you all too see. So once again a big Thankyou to the taba team , hopefully see you all later in the year.

Incredible Diving Experience and Delightful Staff - Dive Centers are a dime a dozen in Cyprus and there are definitely some good ones... But Tapa is just set apart. Pete Cathy and the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing. Super professional all the gear is very well maintained. They know the dive sites in the area very well and everything from the prep before to the dive planning and execution was perfect. I had a blast and even had to go back for a second dive after the first! I'll be back soon in Cyprus and signing up in advance.

Team Pete girls! Four dives with Taba #TheBest - Second time diving with Taba (6 years in between) and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. A tight knit team that have been together a long time and it shows. They are not here to rinse you of money; dives are made to suit you and kit is top notch. Dive shop is immaculate with lovely facilities. Price is right for the care and expertise. Dive one: DSD in the bay was chill and Pete was just able to read our minds he has done it so many times. At our pace, nothing he can’t answer and put you at ease with. Talked about doing a second dive and got lots of advice and some additional training on kit. By Pernera beach hotel we saw lion fish, puffer and plenty more. No pressure on second dive but we were hooked. Dive two; we went to Green Bay and Pete was with us again. They knew our kit, so it was ready on arrival and having the same incredible instructor made it feel so much easier. Conditions were not the best but who doesn’t like a challenge and we trusted Pete. Lots of fab pictures and some amazing reassurance underwater and on the surface. It was an experience that set us up for success. If you can do it in a few waves on just a second dive, you can do anything. Really was down to Pete. Great style and trust was there from start. Wooo! Dive three: okay if you have been on a RIB and dived off it you know the deal. We didn’t. I was nervous as a 42 year old mum with a 14 year old daughter. It was exhilarating. I can’t wait to do it again. It is so worth doing and the museum is wonderful. I found it so chill and it meant so much to have the experience. I was looking up and turning over, felt I got more to grips with bouyancy whilst moving around the exhibition. All in all it’s down to the team. Not money making, it’s experience making and with fun. I was nervous, had a touch of anxiety and now I am absolutely BUZZING to get out again. Thank you.

Taba Diving Centre, Cyprus – Fantastic First Dive Experience! - I booked an introductory dive with Taba Diving Centre as a surprise birthday excursion for my son’s 16th birthday, and it couldn’t have gone better! It was the first time diving for both of my sons (ages 16 and 17), and they were buzzing with excitement when they realised what they were about to do. From the start, Steve was amazing. He was in touch with me via WhatsApp in the days leading up to the excursion, and even messaged again the day before to confirm the pick-up time and answer any last-minute questions, which I really appreciated. Very friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. Once we arrived, the boys were given a clear, informative briefing, followed by a short test on land before heading out. Even as they entered the water, Steve did another mini practical to check they were comfortable before proceeding with the dive. This really put me at ease as a parent. Both of my sons said they had a great time diving with Steve—they really enjoyed the experience and spoke highly of him afterwards. There were plenty of photos and videos taken before, during, and after the dive, which were offered to us for just €22 on a USB—an absolute bargain for the memories captured! There were changing facilities and a clean toilet area for getting into their wetsuits, and the boys were even given bottled water for the dive, which is such a thoughtful touch, especially as diving can leave your mouth very dry. All the equipment was clean, well-maintained, and hygienic. I would absolutely recommend Taba Diving Centre to anyone looking for a fun, safe and memorable diving experience in Cyprus—especially for first-timers. We had such a positive experience from start to finish!

Probably the best dive centre in the world! - Steve and his team of excellent instructors run a very safe and smooth outfit from the dive centre in Pernera. Taba caters for patrons from all over Cyprus and will do their best to make every diver, whether novice or expert, get the most out of their time in the water. All their gear is well maintained, the staff are knowledgable, respectful of each other and always looking out for those that dive with them. You will not find a better place to dive in Cyprus and from my global experience, it’s probably the best in the world!

Our First Diving - Fantastic Experience - We (me, my wife and son of 11 years), were picked up by Steven at the hotel, and drove to the diving center. Here Steven went through a theory lecture before we answered any questions. Afterwards we got suits on us, then we drove (total 3 groups a 3 people down to the beach. Here, each group had their own instructor. Steven with us. With full equipment (mask, vest and bottle) we went into the water, and a quick review of the equipment, then Steven took us underwater. Gradually deeper, and down to about 6-7 meters. Was very great experience, and a lot to see. Including feeding fish. After diving and viewing photos at the diving center, we were driven back to the hotel. Steven had been diving for over 40 years and was exceptionally skilled, both as a diver and on it and working with people. He focused on safety and made everyone relax even if you felt something was starting to stress you. The whole plan was absolutely fantastic, and professionally conducted. This can definitely be strongly recommended. The dive lasted about 52 minutes, about 7-12 minutes longer than planned.

Best diving experience - Taba diving is absolutely fantastic diving school, instructors were amazing, best wishes to all of them from Mantas and Ale.They are best of the best and would recommend only them for sure. For them is not a job but lifestyle thats why they are so amazing thank you for one of the best experience in my life😍😊

Must to do - It was a very goog experience. We are from Hungary, and we made it last year as well, and we returned because the staff is amazing, they are very careful, and help for you with everything. We were Team Pete, he was very kind, and Joe was very helpful with me if I needed. You need to do this experience. I recommend it for everybody😃
