A leisurely ride up the Tiber - A calm and leisurely trip up the Tiber. Although there seemed to be options to plug in old earphones to listen to an audio tour, we just used it as a relaxing ride in the sun. It was approximately 1 hour.

Shop your options - Average is kind. Boat was in poor repair no cover on the top where is the only place you could plug in. There are better boats on River.

Underwhelmed but the river was special. - Being on the Tiber felt like a privilege, and it was a thrill. However, the whole vibe on the boat was rather desultory. We kinda found out ourselves that the box, rather unceremoniously plonked down by the skipper, had headsets in them..but then no instructions as to where we plugged them in. We had to ask the rather dour skipper. The ride is very short and unfortunately, you can't really see that much of the city because you are quite low down and the banks are high. Having said that, we had fun, soaked up some sun, and enjoyed being on this well-used, ancient river.

Not worth it - As it was booked as a round trip and not a hop on hop off I would have expected commentary. We had no idea what the buildings were that we were passing. On the river it self there was nothing to see. Just derelict buildings on floating pontoons. Very disappointing.

Short boat ride for $36. You can also walk along the same river for free. The bar next to pick up was nice though. - Somewhat boring. All there is to see is a 50 foot brick wall the short ride up the river. Would have thought there would be a guide telling you the history or knowledge of the areas that we were passing by. The boat was silent.

Not as I Expected - It was just a brief ride up the river. No commentary at all, nothing to see but just buildings. (Of if here was because I am visiting I was not able to identify them. This is where commentary would have come in handy) I guess if you have 1 hour to kill it is something to do to wile the time away.

Not worth your money or your time - The only good thing you can say about this is it was pleasant being on the water - but the locations were difficult to find from the "meeting point" shown, and the staff were surley, uncommunicative and completely disinterested in the guests. The boat presumably had a commentary, but no-one had any headphones and no staff members were there to give any out, so we just had to guess what we were seeing. Yes, it was reasonably cheap, but it still wasn't worth the money spent - there are literally hundreds of other things in Rome far more worthy of your money and your precious time than this trip.
