The absolute best!!!! - Look no further and book this cooking class. This was an incredible day. Picked us up from Praiano on a boat and dropped us off at the hotel / cooking class. First you’ll sit down to coffee/tea and pastries. Then the cooking class will begin. The kitchen is gorgeous and has an incredible view of the water and Positano. The prosecco is flowing all day. You’ll make 2 pastas and a tiramisu. Lots of little breaks in between to chat enjoy the view and drink prosecco. They have music playing and the view is absolutely beautiful. The take tons photos for you and send them to you afterwards. You’ll then go downstairs to the restaurant where you’ll sit down to a nice lunch and eat what you’ve made. Then, you go down to the beach club where you’ll have reserved chairs to enjoy the beach club for the afternoon. 10/10 amazing experience. Would not change a thing. Would do this class again in a heartbeat, one of the highlights of our trip.

A Dreamy Beachside Cooking Experience in Positano - La Gavitella Beach Club delivered a truly unforgettable experience, beginning with a peaceful water taxi ride from Positano that set the tone for the day. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the warmest staff and started our private cooking class with fresh croissants and coffee, feeling instantly at home. Chef Thomas led the class with enthusiasm and skill, guiding us through each dish with patience and humor—he truly made the day special. Creating ravioli from scratch, a flavorful shrimp pasta, and a zesty limoncello tiramisu felt both educational and incredibly fun. After the class, we savored our homemade meal at a seaside restaurant with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on a private daybed overlooking the tranquil beach, complete with top-notch service and serene surroundings.

100/10 - book this cooking class over any other!!! - Amazing cooking class with the absolute best views possible. They taught us everything we could ever want to know and also were the most kind people ever! This is the best cooking class I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!

Cooking class and beach day - We had a fantastic time during our cooking class and beach day with our family, including our 10- and 15-year-old. Everyone loved getting hands-on with making pasta and dessert—it was a highlight of our trip! A truly memorable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone.

Unforgettable Day of Cooking, Connection, and Coastal Magic – 10/10! - If you’re looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience on the Amalfi Coast, this is it. The La Gavitella cooking class exceeded every expectation. We started the day with a private boat ride from Positano to the stunning beachside restaurant and club in Praiano. It already felt like a dream before the class even began. We were welcomed with coffee and fresh pastries and joined a fun and lively group. The class itself was hands-on and full of personality. We made homemade ravioli, tagliatelle, and the most delicious limoncello tiramisu, all while sipping endless prosecco with upbeat music and a warm, hilarious chef leading the way. The staff was incredibly attentive, helping cook our dishes while we relaxed and soaked in the beautiful atmosphere. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, a personalized recipe booklet, tons of photos, aprons as keepsakes, and memories we’ll never forget. After the class, we lounged at the beach club before taking the boat back to Positano. This was truly a highlight of our trip. Do not miss this experience!
