In search of good wine!! - We walked the Via Francigena from Buonoconvento thru the Tuscan hills and farmland to this gorgeous and peaceful hilltop vineyard property. The history shared about the fortress was fascinating and our tour guide Alice was Incredibly knowledgeable and expert at sharing the grape growing and wine making process. And we were made to feel very comfortable during the wine tasting. An excellent experience all around.

Great wine, beautiful vista - A worthy detour to a rejuvenated winery. The guide had a great deal of care in the tour and the wine itself was fantastic. (We order half a case!)

I would give it 1000 stars if I could! - I cannot say enough nice things about this tour and tasting. Alice was an amazing, making sure my group got to see and taste everything this winery had to offer. We felt as though we were guests of the family, and you do not want to miss this beautiful spot and wonderful people.

Best wine tour you’ll do - Brilliant tour and experience. Have been on lots of wine tours in different regions around the world and this is in top 2. Our guide Alice was very welcoming and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Very accommodating as well considering we showed up a day early for our tour and they still went ahead with it, even though there was nobody booked for a tour at that time and day. If you want a place to learn about and taste some fantastic Brunello, this is it. Thank you for being such a great place.

Lovely winery and delicious wine - The wine tasting followed a lovely tour of the winery. We bought a case to be shipped back to us in US. The snacks were a little light--just crackers. A cheese board would have been a nice addition. The guide should also use a microphone or speak up a bit. He was very nice but talked a bit softly.

Awesome - It was a very good indeed. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all the groups questions and took us through the whole process from the vineyard through the distillery and cellar. The wine tasting experience was good as well. Get ready to buy some wine.

Meet the Brunello - We learned the history of the family and also the castle. And more in depth about the elaboration of its Brunello, its vineyards and winery.

Good Tour - It was nice that even because of the heavy rain we could do the tasting and it was wonderful to learn about Brunello. The tour guide information was great. It would've been nice to have larger pours and maybe more snacks. But it was a good learning experience.
