Great wines and even better people. - We did the wine tasting and truffle hunt. We started out with a warm reception by Gulia followed by Andrea a 4th generation owner of this beautiful winery and just knew that this was going to be a great excursion. We then met Giuseppe and his dog Bombo. They are a great team and masters of finding truffles. We started our walk to the trees where they find truffles. It was down a very long and steep road. Unfortunately one of the members of our party developed an issue with walking and needed some assistance. Gulia called Andrea and he came with a truck and rather than running back to his other tasks stayed with us to allow our family member to rest. He then took my phone and ran through the bushes with Giuseppe and Bombo so that our family member could have the same experience. After Bombo decided he did enough Andrea drove us all through the vineyard so that no one had to walk. Onto the tastings! The wines were phenomenal as was the honey, balsamic and the EVOO from their farm. We joined the wine club and placed an order to be shipped home. You can’t get Vernaccia like this in the US! Trust me, we’ve tried a lot and very few compare. The entire experience was outstanding but more importantly the kindness shown by Andrea, Gulia and Giuseppe were the best part of this experience. Nothing replaces kindness and a good heart!

Wonderful experience - Wonderful tour of the winery/vineyard local to San Gimignano. The views from the terrace and the tasting area are beyond spectacular. Rosa was a great host and explained so well the different types of wine the winery produces. We also received plenty of delicious local eats to accompany the wine. We struggled to get transport from San Gimignano to the winery and a member of staff kindly collected us and dropped us back at the end of the tour which was so generous and appreciated! Can’t recommend this experience enough.

You gotta try this wine!!!! - This winery was a great example of how a wine tasting should be presented. I guess it helps when you have a great wine with perfect atmosphere, great food and a very informed host. The wine maker Stefan was a great host !

Our tour guide was... - Our tour guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very nice! The views were gorgeous. The wine was delicious. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. The food provided was so good. We were able to purchase wine after the tasting. We loved the experience!

Breath taking views, delicious wine! - Stefano was absolutely lovely and energetic. The view from the balcony was breath taking, was worth it just for the view! I have been on a few different wine tastings and others have given a bit more information on the rules around classification of wines, how the different grapes grow, what can and can't be done to the soil etc so would have been good to know a bit more about that. But the wines were delicious and the balsamic vinegar my gosh! Incredible. Very generous with the wine and the snacks!
