It is suggested to participate in a group of 2-4. The clues are crafted for children over the age of 12-13, but younger children are welcome to join the Adventure.

The trail spans approximately 2km (with 20 clues) and follows the ‘Rota Acessível’ (Accessible Route), a concrete path around the town. This activity is perfect for wheelchair and pushchair users, as well as anyone with reduced mobility. Most of the Accessible Route is flat, although there is a gentle incline leading up to the church square. The activity also includes a short, cobbled lane and crosses a few cobbled sections to rejoin the Accessible Route.

The Hunt begins and concludes on the waterfront. There is ample parking along the promenade, or if arriving by public transport, many local buses stop nearby. The train station is about 5 minutes away by car.
