“Hide Raptors” is situated in a former midden frequented by black vultures, griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, corvids, and kites. Positioned between Sierra Hornachos (5 km) and Sierra de Alange (8 km), it serves as a hunting area for large eagles, such as the golden and imperial eagles, which can be observed with some luck.

Dehesa El Águila is a private estate situated in the Municipality of Puebla de la Reina, within the Tierra de Barros Region, nearly at the geographical center of the Province of Badajoz. Its roots lie in the foundations of livestock and agriculture, which have always thrived under the shade of holm oaks and cork oaks, perfectly embodying what is now known as BIODIVERSITY.
The estate’s hides are strategically positioned to offer breathtaking views of the northern part of the Sierra Grande de Hornachos. A significant portion of the farm is part of the Special Protected Bird Zone Z.E.P.A., where one can observe a variety of birds soaring through the skies, including the Golden Eagle, Imperial Eagle, Bonelli’s Eagle, Eagle Owl, Griffon and Black Vultures, Black Stork, Iberian Yellowtail, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Goshawk, Common Kestrel, Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Bee-eater, European owl, Eurasian kite, and Montagu’s harrier.
