The highlight of our trip! - This was mine and my partner’s first holiday since before Covid — and our first holiday together as a couple — so we really wanted to make it special. We booked this excursion fairly last minute, and it exceeded our expectations a hundred times over!
We requested hotel pick-up and were contacted promptly to confirm the time and cost. It was €5 per person each way (€10 total), which we thought was very reasonable. We initially assumed the transfer only covered pick-up and that we’d need to arrange our own way back, so we were pleasantly surprised to find return drop-off was included.
When we arrived, we discovered it would just be the two of us on the excursion, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff explained that although the trip usually lasts around four hours, we could simply let them know when we were ready to head back. The sail itself was absolutely stunning — we spent around 90 minutes sailing in total, and the views out on the ocean were breathtaking.
There were coolers stocked with a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks, and we were encouraged to help ourselves throughout. The booking description mentioned snacks, so we expected the usual crisps and nuts — but instead we were treated to a freshly prepared, boat-cooked Spaghetti Bolognese, which was absolutely delicious!
While anchored, we enjoyed swimming and snorkelling around the boat. I even attempted paddleboarding, although the wind made it a little challenging! After our meal, things got even more exciting — they arranged for us to be pulled behind a speedboat on a large inflatable donut. It was insanely fun (even if we were a bit sore for a few days afterwards!).
Both crew members on the catamaran were amazing — professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. The two staff members operating the speedboat were equally fantastic. We felt completely safe and very well looked after from start to finish.
In total, we spent around three unforgettable hours on the boat, and it was hands down the best experience of our entire week in Lanzarote. If we’re lucky enough to return, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with this company again.

Fantastic option - We did two activities with them: the catamaran tour and the visit to Papagayo. The experience was fantastic and really worth it. We all loved both activities, a perfect combination of enjoying the scenery, bathing and participating in water activities.
The attention of the team was excellent at all times, always pending and adapting to the maximum to our needs. The food on board the catamaran also surprised us very positively. Everything was in perfect condition, very clean, and the material they offer makes the experience even more complete and fun.

Goo day out - UK - 2 parents & boy (12) & girl (9)
Cracking day out. So nice not having to share a boat with dozens of others and have space to lay around.
The watersports were good, the current is pretty fast so just keep an eye on where you are in relation to the boat. That said the crew kept a good eye on us.
The banana boat was a hit with us all, the wee one didn't like the donut so much as she was at the height where the spray was directly in her face. But she got taken onto the speedboat which she loved.
The food was great as well, and plenty of it too.

Fantastic catamaran cruise - An amazing afternoon on the catamaran, including drinks, lunch, snorkelling, banana boat & paddle board.
Drinks are self serve.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Collection and drop off from a nearby hotel.
Lunch was lovely - only downside was didn't cater for vegans despite prior notice. Only salad and fruit for them.
Would definitely recommend.

Nice boat trip, terrible transfers - Boat trip was nice. Offered jet skis and parasailing at an additional cost, but never told what the cost was, so we didn’t bother. Banana boat and donut was great fun, albeit short.
One thing I would say is avoid booking the transfer they offer. We did. Arrived 15mins late. Driver was quite abrupt and felt rather sick after the journey there. Return transfers he turned up 45 mins late. When I contacted the company, I was told repeatedly he was on his way, until the last phone call where I was told the captain of the boat should have told us we would need to wait 45 minutes. Not great communication, especially with 2 tired and hungry children. The party we shared the boat with were on a seperate transfer, their driver was also late, they gave up waiting and went to find taxis.

Terrible customer service - Booked a trip to papagayo on a catamaran. The trip was about €1000. However on boarding the trip we were informed 4 hours is not enough to get to papagayo. So we basically sailed for 30!minutes before parking directly outside the harbour wall at puerto del Carmen where we started. The water sports were fun for the kids but for me the idea of the trip was allowing them to experience a catamaran under sail. We only used the motor. The staff at the booth had a really bad attitude and had an argument with the captain of the boat when we arrived. Not the customer experience you expect for €1000. Book with another company would be my advice - one that appreciates your business. We complained to the office but had no response. That says it all!

Avoid!! Huge disappointment and not worth the money - Avoid if you actually want to do water sports!
I booked the exclusive catamaran for 12 people excursion last week as a treat for my children for the last day of our holiday. The excursion is pricey at €100pp but as it promised so many water sports I thought I’d treat us all.
There were 11 of us in total on the excursion and we set off from the harbour around 2pm. As we’re leaving the harbour the captain comes to us and says that as well as the doughnuts, banana boat, kayaking and SUP (all ‘included’ as part of the excursion) he could also offer us jet skiing and parasailing at a 25% discount later on in the trip. My son was very excited at the prospect of parasailing.
We sailed along the coast for about 70 minutes. It’s not very interesting as there’s not much to see, it’s the coastline going towards Arrecife. We then stop and moor in the sea where we’re told we can snorkel, use the deck tent (small square inflatable to sit in that fits about 4 people), or use the pedalo (which was tied to a buoy so you couldn’t actually pedal anywhere.)
Sadly the boat was moored nowhere remotely interesting and so snorkeling was basically looking at the few fish surrounding the boat waiting for scraps of bread. There were no caves, rocks, or anything interesting to look at. So after 5 minutes you’d seen all there was to see!
There were a few snacks available to eat at this time which I think are a distraction to help pass a bit of time as there really wasn’t much to do. No kayaks and no SUPs. I assumed these were coming later with the ‘water sports’.
We all asked when we could do the water sports and were told that as there were no jet skis available (because they’d all been booked!) we couldn’t do water sports until 5pm. Which meant we were moored for 90 minutes before any water sports and the excursion finished at 6pm back at the harbour, so we all instantly knew we’d get barely any time for water sports. At this point 8 of the people on board (including my family) were fed up and annoyed.
At 5pm a jet ski finally arrived. We asked about doughnuts and were told that it wasn’t possible. Some excuse about the water or the waves. All we were offered was ONE go on the banana boat. No kayaking, no SUP, no jet skiing and no parasailing! And the banana boating lasted all of 10 minutes. What a disappointment!! My children were almost in tears when they were told there wouldn’t be doughnuts.
I only booked this excursion specially for the water sports described in the trip. To only receive 10 minutes on a banana boat was a disgrace. An absolute waste of money.
So if you’re thinking of booking an excursion with them for the water sports I’d suggest avoiding!
I have complained to H2O sports but they haven’t even offered an apology. They clearly don’t care about their customers, or providing a good service, just taking their money.
