This tour is ideal for beginners or those embarking on their first island tour, as well as anyone looking to spend a few hours on a road bike. Participants will experience what it’s like to climb a real mountain and tackle short segments with a 5-15% gradient.
Starting from Puerto de la Cruz, the tour begins with a 7 km ascent to the Humboldt Observatory plateau, offering a stunning view of the valley, Puerto de la Cruz, and the Atlantic Ocean. The route continues through the historic part of Orotava village, crossing the Orotava valley, followed by a 5 km climb to another breathtaking viewpoint. The journey concludes with a return to La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz.
The total distance is 45 km with an ascent of 1000 meters.
