• Centro De Visitantes Istmo Ameghino - The Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center serves as the entrance to the Valdes Peninsula. Here, visitors can explore thematic rooms to learn about the local wildlife and plant life. The viewpoint tower offers stunning views of the New and San Jose Gulfs.
• Caleta Valdes - Traveling along the expansive gravel roads of the Peninsula, visitors can spot various animals such as guanacos, maras, choiques, and different bird species. Upon reaching the eastern end, they can explore Caleta Valdés. The trails offer opportunities to observe southern elephant seals, sea lions, and possibly orcas. These majestic marine mammals are known for their unique hunting technique called intentional stranding, which allows them to feed on pinnipeds.
• Puerto Piramides - This is the only inhabited town within Peninsula Valdes. During whale season, from June to December, visitors can embark on boat tours to see the Southern Right Whale (additional cost applies). The town also offers breathtaking views of its cliffs and beaches.

Explore the Valdes Peninsula on a tour departing from Puerto Madryn. This Natural Heritage Site is celebrated for its diverse array of unique animal species, offering an unparalleled environment.
