Monkey Island - Tour guide will pick you up from the airport or from the bus station.You’ll then go to Palotoa Amazon Travel office to register (passport number and flight number). Then, you’ll take the boat down Madre de Dios river to get to our lodge. After a one- hour boat ride, you’ll arrive at the lodge where you’ll be given a fresh exotic fruit juice. You’ll get the key to your room. After resting for a big, you’ll go for a two – hour walk in the jungle. Your guide will tell you about the lush vegetation (some trees are 500 years old). You’ll also have the chance to see birds (parrot, macaws…) monkeys snakes, butterflies… you’ll discover our wonderful jungle . In the evening, you and your guide will go for a boat ride on Madre de Dios River to look for caimans . You’ll spot the shiny red eyes of the caimans with a flashlight. You might also observe capybaras, the biggest rodents in the world. They can weigh up to 60 kilos. Back at the lodge you will be served dinner.

On this tour we will take our motorized boat that will take us to our lodge for about 40 minutes down river, arriving at our lodge, our guide will give us an introduction to the tour and will see this place of the amazonia, we will have activities like visit to the island of monkeys canopy walk zip line and visit to Sandoval lake. piraña fishing, cayack visit the parrot clay lick , night walk and walking in the forest chance to see animals, birds, insects, reptiles, also we will visit the native family. After 4 days in the Amazon, we will be back to the city of Puerto Maldonado in our own transport.
