Amazing trip - Our guide was Bryan and he was so amazing, finding all the animals in the wild, extensive knowledge and very easy going. Every day was a new adventure. The chefs and and staff were all fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable although we did have a frog, spider and bat get in but that just added to the experience for us. The only issue I had is with whoever owns the property is not maintaining it well, the zip line needs safety maintenance and the food hall is sinking, the staff sleeping area was beyond disappointing and should be replaced immediately. Smaller considerstions are there are only cold showers available, no wifi or cell service until you are on a boat which is sold as 'eco lodge' but it really isn't it is just no investment has been made over the years into these services.

A lifetime experience! - We did 4 days and what a lifetime experience it has been! We saw many wildlife and our guide Brian is the best! He was fun and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Amazon and the ways of life here. The program is designed well with enough time to rest in between activities. We were very well fed. The facilities are basic but you get an ensuite bathroom. Lukewarm water during hours when we had electricity. It is manageable. For the experience we had, we think the basic facilities don't dampen it at all.

Happy - Ivan was an excellent guide with detailed knowledge and care for the children. The staff at our lodge were also lovely and again really cared for the kids when ill. Thanks!

The guide made all the difference. - The tour started off okay on day 1. Monkey Island was a BIG disappointment. People were feeding the monkeys cookies with the wrappers and none of the guides were saying anything about it. The reason we are giving this tour 5 stars is because on day 2 we got a new guide who was INCREDIBLE. Ivan's knowledge of the wildlife (especially the birds, which was the main reason we came) was so impressive. He was able to identify birds based on their sounds and how they flew. He took so much time and helped us identify so many birds and other species (especially at Sandoval Lake). Thank you Ivan, you made our trip amazing!

An Unforgettable Amazon Adventure with Jose Luis - I joined the 4-day, 3-night Amazon tour and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Special thanks to our guide Jose Luis — patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the rainforest. The overall itinerary was well organized, allowing us to explore and experience the Amazon in a relaxed and immersive way. A small note for future travelers: the lodge does not have hot water, and electricity is available only 4 hours a day. However, I didn’t find this uncomfortable at all — in fact, it made the trip feel even more authentic. Being offline and following the natural rhythm of the rainforest was incredibly refreshing for both body and mind. Meals were a big highlight — every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was thoughtfully prepared, abundant, and far exceeded expectations. Overall, this was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to connect with nature in its purest form.

A must do in a lifetime - This was a trip of the life time. Everything was incredibly perfect and beautiful. Of course, don't expect luxury which I would not in amazon. Our tour guide, Saay, was friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. Thank you for making this dream of mine come true.

Unplug and connect with nature and people - I had a fantastic time here with my dad. The guides were all great and I made several new friends. It is like staying in a hostel because you are doing activities with many other people every day. I would 100% recommend if you can handle not having internet for a few days 😂

Amazing Experience! - This tour offered me and my partner a very special experience that both of us enjoyed a lot! When being asked about which activity was my favourite, I could never tell because all of them were very amazing experiences! The tour guide is professional, knowledgeable about all the plants and animals in the forest, and you’ll never miss an animal when he is around (the one I had was Saay). I like how well-balanced the resting and activity time are. The activities are kinda energy consuming, but you can always get enough sleep and food. The lodge offers really good and special food. Also, since you can only use electricity in a limited time and there is no internet, it feels like a getaway from the outside world and you can truly enjoy the nature. The only downside was that there was no warm water in the lodge due to broken water system but this is the jungle so I’ll just see that as something normal! And by the way, remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner because there is only soap in the lodge and I think it is not enough for washing your hair after a long day of excursion!

Do 3 days, not 4 - I was with a group of people that were all doing 3 days. After they left I was told I could do other activities at night (e.g., camine watching or a rainforest night walk). My guide had also left after 3 days, so I checked with staff at the lodge MULTIPLE TIMES to make sure I was able to go on these activities and what time they would be at. Despite waiting in the lodge, no one came to get me or told me about the activities. I felt completely forgotten about and I was stuck with alone, with no wifi, at this lodge. I was so bored I was offering the help out the staff to kill time. I even asked if I could just leave that night because I felt miserable, but they said I had to wait until the next morning. This experience on my last day was an absolute bummer because outside of this, the excursion was fun. Just ended up being a waste of a day of travel. I wish I would have known that the people I was going to be with (including my guide) would only be there for 3 days.
