Tambopata River - Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado - Transfer to Lodge.
Upon arrival at the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado, guests will be greeted and taken to the office for registration.

Tambopata River - Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado - Transfer to Lodge.
Upon arrival at the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado, guests will be greeted and taken to the office for registration.
Excess luggage will be securely stored at the office in Puerto Maldonado before transferring to the lodge. A refreshing welcome drink will be provided.
After a delightful lunch, the adventure begins with the Canopy Tower, which stands 35 meters tall and is constructed at the base of a giant Lupuna Tree, a symbol of the Amazon’s grandeur. After enjoying the canopy walk, guests will experience an exhilarating zip-line through the forest.
Later, the next activity involves taking a boat along the Madre de Dios River to search for Jungle caimans, often found on the riverbanks. With some luck, capybaras may also be spotted.
Overnight stay at the lodge.

Tambopata National Reserve - Day 2: LAKE SANDOVAL – RETURN TO PUERTO MALDONADO
Following a delicious breakfast, guests will take a boat to the Tambopata National Reserve Zone control. After a 1.5-hour walk through the rainforest, they will arrive at the renowned Sandoval Lake. Surrounded by towering ancient trees and tangled vines, visitors will witness vibrant flowers and fauna, including Giant Otters, birds, colorful butterflies, turtles, and various fish. A few hours will be spent canoeing on this stunning lake, one of the most beautiful in the region.
Guests will return to the lodge and then take a boat back to Puerto Maldonado, followed by a transfer to the airport or bus station.
