Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales - Pick-up at your hotel in Puerto Varas to explore the Osorno volcano. On the way, pass by charming wooden churches, Chilean farmhouses, and the town of Ensenada. Drive through a dense forest of mostly native Coigües to reach Chile’s oldest National Park, Vicente Pérez Rosales, established in 1926.

Petrohué Waterfalls - The first stop within this park will be the Petrohué waterfalls. Hike a short trail through native forests and be amazed by the crystal green waterfalls.

Volcan Osorno - Return to the car and drive towards the slopes of the Osorno Volcano. At 1,300 m / 4,265 ft. above sea level, take a short hike over lava fields and enjoy the stunning view over Lake Llanquihue. On a clear day, the Pacific Ocean is visible.

Lago Todos Los Santos - On the way, enjoy a picnic lunch with a great view over Lake “Lago Todos Los Santos” and several snow-capped volcanoes. In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Chiloe - In the morning, pick-up at your hotel in Puerto Varas for the drive to the island of Chiloé, including a pleasant 30-minute ferry crossing where sea lions and possibly dolphins can be observed.

Castro - Continue the journey to Castro, the capital of Chiloe, to see the traditional palafitos (houses built on stilts along the shore) and visit the majestic wooden church (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Stroll through town and stop at the crafts market featuring wood and woolen products from the region. In the late afternoon, return to Puerto Varas, driving along the eastern coastal road past several small fishing villages.
