Breathtaking is an understatement - This was such an amazing and eye opening experience. Please go with pure intentions and be ready to learn. Mayan culture is so incredible. The cenote was beautiful and the view from the water was breathtaking

The experience was very... - The experience was very educational. Victor and Alfredo are great tour guides and very knowledgeable. I would recommend you do so. Be prepared to do some walking though.

Amazing Experience - Fantastic day, ticking two items off my bucket list. It was a long day but well worth it. It has always been a dream of mine to visit a Myan pyramid and swim in a Cenote.

Long day - so worth it! - It was a long day, but we loved our tour! Rafa was a fantastic guide and he did a great job teaching us about Mayan culture in a way that really brought the tour to life. He was funny too which we appreciated. We spent 2 hours at Chichén Itzá and it’s hot and sunny in Mexico, so I highly encourage bringing an umbrella for shade. It made a big difference. The cenote was a welcome refreshing experience after being in the heat. My husband was hesitant about the cenote before our tour and he didn’t think he would like it because he doesn’t really enjoy swimming in pools. He said it was one of his favorite parts of the tour and he’s so glad we got to experience it! There is a platform you can jump off of and it was really fun to hold hands, count to 3, and plunge into the chilly water together. The drive back was a little long but many people were asleep after a long day of having fun. Overall, a great experience in Mexico! Great way to spend a day.

17 Hours of hell - If you are in Cancun do not bother with this tour. They will put you on a small bus for 1.5-2 hours resort hopping all the way down to Playa Del Carmen which you will then board a bigger and nicer bus for you to start the tour. Then you will drive 2.5 hours to Chichen Itza and the Cenote which both are great tho you are pressed for time slightly because it took so long to get here. Then the bus will take you back another 2.5 hours to TULUM which is insane as you will drop people off at their resorts. Then you will hop back to Playa Del Carmen (another hour to 2 depending on if people need dropped off along the way). Then you will board the small busses to go back and drop everyone off. If you are in Cancun you WILL be the last to be dropped off so expect another 1.5-2 hours dropping people off. Since you are the first also be prepared to wake up super early to get on the bus, ours was 6am and to get food we needed to plan far ahead at 5am. Lunch is at 2pm roughly and we didn’t get back to our resort until 10PM!!! That is insane and with no dinner we were left to starve at the end of the day. They claim it’s a “Cancun” day trip and it is roughly 11 hours but for us it was 17 hours!!! That is unacceptable and the tour company has cast far too wide of a net in the area to take people. This tour would be great for people in TULUM or Playa Del Carmen as you can wake up at a reasonable time, get breakfast at your resort and then still get home at a nice 6-7pm for dinner.

Absolute waste of time and money - 1. The pickup time was unstable and subject to last minite change.
We booked this for the 26th of May, purchasing the hotel pickup package. And a couple days before the tour, we suddenly got an email that they wouldn't be able pick us up to our hotel. So, we had to take uber to get to the meeting point. anyway, we didn’t even argue with that. So we booked our uber for the next day in advance and they suddenly said we should be at the meeting room 1 hour late. I was so frustrated with their communication. It was too late to cancel the first the uber, so I had to pay twice for the Uber.
2. Too much selling stuff
You guys will see the guide that he shows so much effort to sell stuff. I can understand part of it but they even brought us to a couple locations with the sole intention of to selling us stuff. The guide was knowledgable in history -- but he always tied Mayan history back into some sales pitch or anothet.
We get it. No judgment. They've got to eat too -- but if you are looking for a pure historical experiance. This ain't it
3. The ratio of tour to being-stuck-on-a-bus was about 1:2. 4 hours of tour -- 8 hours of bus.
Getting to Chechen Itza was a long journey and we already expected it. BUT their shuttle bus service was the worst of the worst. On the way back, we had to stop by most of the people’s accommodation to drop them off. There were like 30 people I guess.
It was terribly wasting time to drop off each person.
AND they didn't even drop off out hotel. So we had to call Uber at about 9pm at night. We didn’t even know about that area and the whole thig was sketch. We were so worried if we didn’t get the Uber, we were just fxxxed. Even the Uber driver said ‘What made you call an Uber all the way out here?’
Overall, it was the worst tour I have had. I didn’t even want to tip them but we did.
I am so furious that I wasted my time in Cancun, more than money. I even lost the trust of Orbitz. I won’t use this. NEVER.

A brutally long day, but a true wonder of the world! - This is a really long and tough day. Our tour was run by Cancun-Passion!
Our tour was really disorganised at the start and we spent 2 hours on our mini-bus collecting people from hotels that the tour operator clearly didn’t know where they were! It’s was a horrific start and then we had to wait on the side of the motorway to transfer to the main coach! I’ve also never been on a coach where they drive so fast and are permanently doing 120km/h whilst sat up the backside of the vehicle in front of them! It gets your pulse racing for certain.
The majority of the focus is on getting you to depart with your money. Everything is sell, sell, sell. The locations and time that they give you in every stop, is so that the mercenary traders can exert as much pressure on you as possible.
Chichen Itza is wonderful, and so glad that my wife and I got to see it. If you’re going, wear old light clothes and trainers or shoes you don’t really care about. It is immensely dusty, and windy, so your clothes and shoes get really dirty. The vendors inside and outside Chichen Itza are everywhere and are really aggressive, so beware! Head down and no thank you is your best weapons.
The cenote is also a bit of a swizz, we were advised that we had paid for everything, yet upon arrival, we had to pay to get a life jacket, something you have to wear by law, so that we could actually swim in it. Once again lots of vendors trying to sell you stuff.
Last but not least the tour of Valladolid, absolutely irrelevant and in our opinion, not needed.
We were out for a total of 14 hours, 9 of which were spent on a bus. It was brutal and so much time was wasted by the tour operators clear agreements with the venues where they constantly try and extort money. Even where you go for lunch is a constant mission to get money from you, it was embarrassing and out of order being blunt. It does tarnish what is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
I’d look for a private tour that takes you there and back and avoid all the other destinations which will save you so much wasted time and also a lot of money!

A Devastating Experience That Ruined My Trip - I was excited about this tour, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Despite arriving at the hotel meeting point on time, the bus was not allowed to park, which caused confusion. Instead of resolving the issue effectively, the company claimed they were looking for me, but I have photos showing I was present at the designated spot.
When I suggested taking a taxi to meet the group at another location, the company declined this option. As a result, I was unable to participate in the tour I had paid for. I contacted the company to request a refund, but they refused to issue one, which added to my frustration.
This experience not only left me disappointed but also ruined my holiday plans.

Total Fraud - Double Charing beware. - These people are such a fraud. Stay away and beware as this can happen to you. I had booked a trip for my family, they then asked for the entry fee of $40/person, which I paid using their link through my credit card. It turns out they asked my family again for the entry fee payment and charged us twice, claiming that the payment has not come through whereas I have a bank transaction confirmation that it has been paid.. They are using this tactic to rob people.... I will be reporting their website and payment link as fraudulent to the U.S. banks.
