Perfect excursion for a full day of fun and adventure! - We had an amazing experience on the sea turtle & Mayan jungle trek! Our tour guide, Paco, picked us up promptly at 8am & was with us every step of the way. First, we stopped at the sea turtle sanctuary & snorkeled for ~1 hour with sea turtles, manta rays, and a variety of fish. We had a light snack & drink at the beach restaurant/bar before making our way to the Great Mayan Jungle where we ziplined, enjoyed swimming & kayaking in 4 cenotes, and ate a traditional Mayan lunch in the small Mayan community. Paco kept us well informed throughout the entire trip, offered interesting facts about the local culture, and made sure we were comfortable from start to finish! I would recommend Kay Tours, Paco, & this excursion to anyone looking for a full day of fun & adventure!

Amazing tours, amazing guides, amazing company - I don’t have the words to say how brilliant this was!
We did 2 trips with Kays Tours over the course of our holiday, the Whale Sharks and the private turtle swim with the Mayan jungle trek, and both were exceptional.
Whale Shark - Eric was our guide. He was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Very knowledgeable and his English was flawless. The day was an early start, but we were one of the first boats in with the sharks, and so we got our dives done quicker than other boats. We got up close and personal with the sharks, which is quite and exceptional experience. I got really quite poorly on the boat due to sea sickness, but the captain and 1st mate were so kind and caring. We all got 2 dives each, and then headed to the beautiful island for lunch, which was yummy!
Our 2nd tour was my personal favourite (no boats haha). We had a private trip which included a swim with turtles, of which there were plenty despite it being in the wild, and then a jungle trek to swim in the Mayan cenotes. We swam, snorkelled, walked, ate; canoed and zip lined our way through the jungle, and our guides José and Claudia were just phenomenal. Really special people who went out of their way to give us an amazing experience. The personal touches really made a difference! Claudia’s knowledge of all things Mayan and Mexican was fascinating. She also lent us her personal waterproof camera when we realised we had forgotten our own. She kept us topped up with big spray and was a demon at spotting bugs, so we didn’t get bitten. I’m not a hugger, but at the end of the trip I wanted to show her just how special she had made it - so went in for a big squeeze.
Thank you Kay’s tours for giving us, not one but two most excellent adventures.

A wonderful all day tour of Tulum and fun! - Our guide Jessica Plata was awesome! The tour of Tulum was informative, the cenotes were refreshing, the zip lines were so much fun, and the local Mayan lunch was delicious! The time flew by quickly and Jessica made it so enjoyable.

Private Jungle Reef Tour for out family of 4 (2 teens, 2 adults) - We did the Private Jungle Reef Tour with our family of 4. It was the highlight of our trip and worth every penny! Paco was our guide for the day and he was awesome! We never felt rushed and were able to spend as much time swimming in the Centoes as we wanted. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw so many fit kinda of fish and 3 sea turtles! Luis was our boat driver and guide in the water. He was so patient with me and led me around personally to make sure I saw everything. It was great!! The zipline course was so much fun! It felt very safe and secure while also giving us a thrill. My 15yr old daughter was very nervous at first, but she absolutely loved it! Swimming in the Cenotes was awesome. We went to 3 different ones and each was better than the last. My teens and husband loved jumping off the platforms and dropping from the zipline into the Cenote. It was an amazing day and we all highly recommend it!

The best tour with the most amazing guide - Jessica Plata was the most amazing guide. She was fun & her knowledge was beyond what I anticipated. We visited Tulum & she never missed a chance for a photo op (which I loved)
Then off to some incredible cenotes and Ziplines across the water. Oh and the lunch, a hidden gem of authenticity, so tasty
Again I cannot put into words how this day went because of her & the love she puts into her work.

Amazing private tour experience Chichen-Itza and Puerto Morelos cenotes - Highly recommend Kay Tours in Cancun if you’re looking for a great private tour experience! Our family of six with four kids (5,5,7, and 8) booked private chichen-itza and puerto Morelos tours through them. Booking was a breeze, lots of timing options, clean air-conditioned private bus with snacks and drinks, pickup from the resort, tasty lunch, private tour guide. It was perfect.
I specifically would highly recommend *Claudia* as your tour guide, particularly if you’re traveling with kids (sharing name and photos with her permission). Our family of 6 - two adults and four kids ages 8,7,5 and 5 had an amazing time with the tours she recommended. We did a day in Chichén-Itzá with a stop at the cenote, and we did a puerto morelos jungle trek, which entailed three different cenotes (worth to go to all three, very different experiences), and a zipline through the canopy. Lunch was included. We had a private bus, clean and air conditioned, with drinks and snacks. Claudia brought little gifts for the kids and she was amazing help - held their hands, kept a watchful eye, helped find emegency bathrooms, lost shoes, etc etc. it was like having a third adult family member. Made our experience so smooth and easy, and 100% enjoyable!!! She’s been with the company for 8 years and it shows. I would absolutely book with them again and specifically her as a guide.
Chichén-Itzá is a must-do and is a wonder of the world, but it’s quite crowded and it’s massively hot as early as 9am. Just prepare yourself that it won’t have a private tour feel to it. Puerto Morelos we basically had the entire place to ourselves and it felt like a private, exclusive excursion. I would absolutely do that one again!!!

Awesome cenote experience - My wife and I went on the Small Group Mayan Jungle Expedition cenote tour, and it was everything we hoped for — truly the perfect experience. We were looking for a cenote tour that wouldn’t take up the whole day, and this one was ideal: about four hours at the cenotes, plus roughly 1.5 hours of travel each way from our hotel in Costa Mujeres.
Our guide, Rodrigo, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, thoughtful, and an excellent driver. What really made the experience special was that he brought a GoPro and captured tons of great photos and videos of us throughout the tour, which he shared afterward. This gave us memories we’ll treasure forever.
The three cenotes we visited were each incredible, with the last one — located in a cave — being especially memorable. And to top it all off, the tacos we had for lunch were authentic and delicious, far better than anything we could’ve had at a hotel.
This was a truly unique and enjoyable experience — and absolutely worth the price. We would enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, well-paced cenote adventure.

Sea Turtles - We had a fantastic time. We all saw sea turtles! Our tour guides, James and Nate were fabulous. We had a group of 21 and they showed up on time with two vans and were very accommodating. They were very patient with us and our group which consisted of teenagers down to 6 year olds. I highly recommend kay tours for any excursion.

Beautiful tour but Kay didn't deliver what they promised - We had a good time overall — the guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and flexible with our timing. The food was tasty, and the cenote we visited was beautiful and peaceful, just as described.
That said, one of the main reasons I chose this tour over another option was the promise that I could bring and use my paddleboard in the cenotes, this was part of our conversation before booking. Unfortunately, when the guide picked us up, he said he didn’t think it would be allowed and confirmed at the location that it wasn’t possible.
I understand this might sound like an unusual or picky request, but paddleboarding is actually part of one of my professional gigs — so it wasn’t just for fun, it was something I had planned with intention. I had another tour option where paddleboarding was 100% allowed, and I only skipped it because of the clear message I received from this company.
I still enjoyed what we did, but the experience didn’t match what I was led to expect, and that left me disappointed.
Private tours should mean flexibility and honest communication. This part really missed the mark.
