Fun activities and staff - Our family group of 3 visited Selvatica for the “Gimme All” excursion booked through The Grand Moon Palace. We enjoyed their Zip lines, Bungee Jump, Superman, Roller coaster, ATVs, and Cenote. Logistics wise, check in was easy. They asked for a $10 insurance fee for each vehicle being driven, but is reasonable. Lockers and towels were complimentary with our reservation. $5 deposit for the use of the locker, and we got it back upon returning the towels and key. The locker was very convenient to access anytime we were at “base camp.” Our main tour guide was Chino, who did a great job pacing our day and entertaining us with his jokes the entire time. Him and all the other staff were welcoming and ensured we had a fun and safe time. They were nice when hooking us up into equipment and putting our harnesses on etc. A pleasant surprise was the food quality. Most excursions lack in this area, but not at this location. For a break we were each provided a ham quesadilla and fresh fruit. Pretty tasty and could tell it was prepared well and appeared very clean. Our lunch to end the experience was chicken fajitas with rice and beans and an optional salad bar. The chicken was moist and the veggies had good flavor. The salad bar had garden salad and macaroni salad. Again, both seemed freshly prepared and we enjoyed them as an addition. The staff encouraged us to drink water throughout the day, and had water stations at each activity area. Overall, my family had a wonderful time, and we would consider booking another excursion (focused on ATVs and Cenote) if vacationing in Cancun in the future.
