Fabulous horse ride on beach. - Wonderful day out seeing the city, then horse ride along the beach. Pablo our guide with the horses was excellent. 👌 Hannah, who showed us around the city, was very friendly and helpful. We lived all of it.

Horse back riding tour - Our experience was extremely great, our 2 tour guides WILLIAM and Carmen were very good and let us start earlier because we were there and ready. They also let us stop for lunch and took us to a couple extra places and provided drinks to us. I would definitely book with them again

Great experience - William and Carmen were by far the best tour guides we ever had. Knowledge of the history the sights we went to and all around great people. They treated is like family and even went to lunch at a local restaurant. We will for sure will request them when we go back to the Dominican.

Great Trip - We had a great experience. The total trip was perfect. Did a hike up to a waterfall and came sliding down in the water my wife loved it, then we went to a local shop where they were making cigars and lots of chocolate. We finished up with a horse ride with just me and my wife finished up the guide my wife ride's and owns horses she loved the horse she was ride and it like the water and she always dreamed of riding a horse in the ocean. It was a perfect day for her. Thanks a lot really appreciate your help in your hospitality.

Awesome tour & Horse Back riding in Amber Cove - We pre booked our tour online and received confirmation and exact instructions on where to meet. We arrived 10 minutes prior to arrival time and were greeted by a very cordial hostess, Carmen. She informed us our guide, Tammy, would be along shortly and we were the only cruisers who had booked the tour on this day. Our now, "private tour", would become one of our favorite experiences on our cruise aboard the Star Princess. Tammy was the perfect guide/driver one could ask for. In addition to being Informative and outgoing, she went out of her way to make sure any requests we had were met. Whether it was providing us an umbrella during a sudden rain shower or offering to get her car and pick us up due to rain and distance, she went beyond what we expected. The sites and experiences were as promised. The horse back riding and our guides were very good and got us a nice experience of local farms and beach area near our cruise port, Amber Cove. When the tour would have normally been over, Tammy asked if there was anything else we would like to do. Per our request, she took us to a beach for locals where my wife got a massage right by the shore and I was able to bathe in the beautiful waters as I waited for her and enjoyed some adult refreshments. Can't say enough of the enjoyment we received on this tour and much of it can be attributed to Tammy.

Visit to Puerta Plata and horseback riding in the countryside - My family of 6 had a wonderful time seeing Puerta Plata and then going horseback riding. It was quite a walk out of Amber Cove to the street where our tour guide plus driver met us with their van. We enjoyed the rum samples at the factory, the chocolate factory, going to the pink street, the Amber museum and the souvenir shop where we bought beautiful jewelry and t-shirts. We drove out of town to the farm and we loved the puppies and riding our horses on the trail and through the water up to our knees. We will cherish that memory. Our guides and driver were fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour.

A very memorable experience - From the ship it is about a mile walk to the car. Note, they have pedi-cab that will take you from ship to duty free store. saves about a 1/4 a mile and maybe 10 miinutes. Once outside the port gates, we were met by Carmen in a well kept air conditioned mini van. Just the two of us, so it was a private tour. About a 15 minute drive into town then several stops. Amber Museum, Rum factory and chocolate factory then some walking around the town. Carmen had it timed perfectly, arrvied just as the rum tour was starting. After about an hour plus a ride back to the just past the port for the hoseback riding. Horseback on a trail and the beach that was enjoyable. note. don't wear white. Because water, sand and a bit of mud you may (in my case) a bit of mud on you. You can see the beach from the ship, that is how close the horse back riding is. She dropped us just out side the gate, saved us about a 1/4 mile walk. Overall, a private tour at a great price!

Great Day Out With A Great Host - If your in Dominican Republic definitely give this excursion a go and ask for Tammy she was so good and helpful to us bought us to all the places listed safely and comfortably we got to make and smoke our first cigars the rum house tour was good everything was timed perfectly not too long not too short she bought us around all the main parts of the city took photos of us without hesitation Tammy really went the extra mile for us from the very start she even asked me my favourite music and I told her it was reggae and she played it in her car for me for the whole journey she was very kind funny and informative about the island and the island life and in general I would 100 percent be recommending her to my family and friends the horse riding on the beach was unreal it finished off the trip perfectly

This was an amazing tour... - This was an amazing tour that I will recommend to all my family and friends!!! The tour took us to a chocolate factory, rum factory, several shops around the city, to the city square, amber museum, and horseback riding. I also appreciated the provided transportation with water and AC. Alex was an amazing tour guide and very informative. I felt safe with him guiding us around the city.
