Really fun and got to see a lot of the local life - First time on an ATV and it was a lot of fun. They picked me up and took me to the ATV place and taught me how to drive. The lockers there cost 5 dollars, not included, but you don't need it for the ATVS. We went through water, jungle, beach, and city. Met some cute dogs along the way too. Overall, a great day.

Had a blast - We were in a side by side, which was the better way to travel for my wife and I. The guides were good and the trails were good as well. Some of the trails were quite rough and you had to go slowly through them. Also there was plenty of water and mud to make it interesting. One of the workers was always positioning themselves to take photos and videos. And I might say that they were great and a decent price for everything. You need to remember to bring extra clothes. There are open showers to clean yourselves and change if you wish to. There are also lockers available for $5. There are no places on any of the buggys to keep anything. Also bring cash and or CC for the rest stop. Which is where they explain how they process the Cacao. There are items to purchase if you wish to.

Although it seems we... - Although it seems we didn’t quite get the tour that was originally advertised, we still had an amazing time. I had booked the Waterfall and ATV tour, and based on the photos, I was expecting a day filled with ATV rides, several stops—including a visit to a chocolate factory, a shot of maujana, and a city tour. However, the experience was a bit different.
Instead of the ATV adventure I anticipated, we were led to a van that took us to the waterfall, which was absolutely stunning and thrilling. Afterward, we enjoyed a nice lunch. Finally, we got on the ATVs for about 45 minutes, but the ride itself was more limited than I expected. We were driven to a beach and then to an area that seemed more industrial, with some muddy spots to navigate.
Even though there was a bit of confusion regarding the itinerary, we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed the experience. I suspect there may have been a mix-up with either the advertising or the tour coordination. Regardless, the waterfall was incredible, and the ATV portion, though short, was still a fun part of the day.
For future guests, I’d recommend confirming the details of the tour ahead of time to avoid any surprises. I’d still consider booking another adventure, but I hope the company can clarify the tour details to ensure expectations match the actual experience.

A True ATV Adventure - The machines were well kept and the guides were helpful and friendly. I love that they truly take you off-road this is not driving through easy flat road, it's a true adventure! I will do it again the next time we're here.

Amazing experience - Was an amazing experience. We stopped twice, once for hot chocolate and alcohol tasting, the second to spend some time at the beach. The video they took of all of us was great quality and it was just a super fun time. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional Excursion - This was one of the most enjoyable authentic excursions we have ever been on. The guides were extremely friendl and knowledgeable. We didn’t feel rushed at all and the village coffee, cocoa experience was fabulous! I would definitely recommend and plan on booking again in the future.

ATV in Purto Plata - We had a Great time running through the puddle filled trails through the Dominican countryside. We saw plenty of cows, donkey and a bourse or two. Stayed pretty clean on our atv taking it easy through the water. Ronnie our tour guide kept us safe and upright with his good guidance through the rough spots. Overall a great trip!

Cool experience. As described mostly. - Excursion was awesome but directions to find were a little hard. Once out of the "Amber Cove" area, go left down the road to the tour buses - ask for DR tours and someone will be there. Probably a 15 minute walk. We waited on a bus then they took us on a short drive to the ATV place. Did a quick test drive then we were on the way. The booking said included DR bandana - we paid $5 for a regular ski mask.
We then drove the ATVS up through the jungle. Very easy to drive and guides were helpful. Someone did flip their ATV into the trees, but this was rare and hard to happen. We did not get really dirty, but should've worn crocs/birkenstocks. It was awesome going through the water spots and uphill. We stopped at the
'Jungle' for some refreshments - the coffee, chocolate, and mamajuana drinks were so good. Sampled and bought some cigars. Went back down the same route and had a quick stop at the beach.
The video and photos at the end were really cool to see but we did not buy. It was $45 but we just wanted one photo but wasn't allowed.
Definitely recommend this tour! The pricing was great for what we got just would've wished there were different photo options and the bandana,

Totally different than advertised - It seems other people have had issues with this company in Puerto Plata. We booked an ATV bike tour. We got there and they put us in a van and took us to a tour where we waded through a canyon with some natural water slides. It was a great tour but not at all what we paid for. Upon discussing this with the operators, they did fix the situation by refunding the tour we paid for and then we just paid for the cheaper on we did. But they also grouped us up with other tour groups so a quick tour that should have taken 30 minutes with my small group of 8 people became a three-hour long waiting session while over one HUNDRED other tourists took turns walking through the canyon. I didn’t appreciate that at all. I’d be wary of booking with this company unless you’re totally cool to just “go with the flow.” There is a good chance your tour will NOT be as advertised.
