Fun for the family - Lots of fun!! Pick us was outside of the port entrance. The drive was only a couple minutes . Atv was easy to drive and fun! Alfonso was really good. I would definitely recommend.

Best value and maximum fun! - Our four person family had a blast on this ATV tour! They supply helmets and googles. We toured some small towns, countryside, and a beach with stops at each. The stopover to teach us about Mamajuana and other local art / cigars was a nice plus. Alfonso carefully guided our group of about ten riders and explained little bits of knowledge at each stop. Nathan was awesome at being our "poparazzi"! The photos he took and quick video made were a must. Great quality. Overall, we all loved this tour. We came off a Carnival cruise and had a bit of a long, unnerving walk outside and to the left of the cruise port. This is probably the only downside. Pickup inside the port would've saved half a mile or so of walking to the open air bus. If you're reading this, book a tour! Highly recommended.

Fun, Beautiful, Muddy! We loved it - We all enjoyed this excursion so much! It had rained all morning, so we had a muddy ride. The guides took great care of us and made it so fun. We had a couple stops along the way — each with unique and insightful experiences. Not to mention, the views were stunning. The videographer/photographer put together a fun package for us and the price was reasonable :) overall, a great experience and would happily book with them again.

ATV Tour with beach trip - The tour was a very good length. We had Alphonso as our guide and Mario did a fantastic job on pictures and videos. We went to a market place and got to taste mamajuana (a drink), hot chocolate and they had gifs and cigars. We also stopped at the beach which was beautiful. They can customize your tour for you. They communicated very well with us prior to the excursion (especially helpful since cruise ships don't have the greatest access to make phone calls).

There is no substitute - One of THE best and professional operations I've experienced!!! The directions from Amber Cove port were exact. You can walk. No need for taxi. The crew stands with signs denoting your name and their company. Once they gather everyone, you board a 'safari' truck, strap your seat belt in and you arrive at the facility in 7 minutes. The place is well run and organized. Never rode an ATV? No problem. They give you lesson and take a spin with you so you know how to operate it. Simply: brake and acceleration. After signing a waiver, you're fitted with a helmet. Bring a handkerchief or gator to cover moth and nose while riding. After a few more instructions, your off to your adventure. The terrain was challenging at times but these vehicles are made for that so really no issues. You will not be covered in mud cause if you speed through the many puddles the vehicle will stall. You'll get a bit muddy but from the knees down. You're then taken to a place in the countryside and experience cigars, coffee, cacao, mamajuana and souvenirs, all for purchase. Then back to home base. You can tell a lot about a place by the way their machines are serviced, maintained and run. RV Tours truly take care of their vehicles thus making them safe for us. The crew are friendly and enjoyable to talk with. One of the guys recommended a restaurant nearby and arranged transportation to and then back to cruise port. An awesome time! If you wanna get covered from head to toe, do the Buggy! You'll end up looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator. Extremely highly recommended

Fantastic experience - it was the perfect day! - This tour company is top tier! Rene is professional, funny, courteous and timely. He was able to pivot and adjust on our private tour to add all kinds of extra fun things. Our trip to Amber Cove wouldn't have been the same without him. AMAZING EXPERIENCE & SERVICE! SUPER WORTH IT. WE HAD SUCH A BLAST!! BOOK WITH RENE :) - Rene is an amazing tour guide, I got in touch with him through WhatsApp to book an excursion. Rene responded within minutes and showed us options on what we would like and can do. He was very accommodating starting from the being. Super efficient & very easy to communicate with. We did CITY TOUR & ATV after. Let me tell you, this man loves his job that he do it with such passion we felt like we were part of his family. When we did the city tour he showed us around town, showed us where to get affordable local items we did it with no hassle and we had such a good time. Lastly we did the ATV/ Buggy ride, it was sooo much fun. We seen so many places around, tried the best chocolate cacao as well. We washed off in this beautiful beach after, it was just us no one else was around. They had everything ready for us. It was such an unforgettable experience. I also asked René last minute to buy a cake so I can surprise my fiancé, he happily help me through all my needs. Bought us a complimentary local beer, sodas, water and a bottle of RUM!!! Such a great Adventure!!! - This tour was amazing!!! It is definitely a must do when you are in amber cove Puerto plata. We enjoyed how professional were the tour guys and everything went super smooth. The views of the route were breathtaking, and it was super fun discovering new sights that we were not expecting. Thumbs up!!!

Great ride for families. Guides proceeded cautiously. - The routes were good. The group was very cautious and proceeded too slow. Definitely not for a thrill seeker, but great for families carrying small children.

Fun! - We really enjoyed this buggy tour. I didn’t know if I would as it’s out of my comfort zone but it was fun. We all had to put googles and helmets on and you could purchase for 5 dollars a scarf you very much needed to use for your mouth. The guys were fun and friendly and always made sure everyone was safe. I liked the little craft tourist place they took us to where they gave us shots of amazing tasting hot chocolate and a local drink . The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that we had to wait an hour on the bus for all the passengers to turn up. I asked the other passengers what time they were told and they said between 8-830 am . I contacted the tour company the day before and asked what time bearing in mind I told them that the ship docks at 7am and they said it’s best to get off the cruise ship as soon as you can and go to bus. So we rushed off and as it’s a bit of a walk to get there we arrived at 7.15 and last person turned up at 8.15 so I suggest get an exact time to arrive. There was a bit of a wait around at the end of the tour which I don’t really know why, we were all sitting around waiting to get back on the bus.
