Nice overview of the city - Did this tour while on a cruise stop. Took a chance and booked this direct. Very reasonable cost. We were the only ones on the tour so we had Manuel as our private guide. Would recommend this tour if coming here.

Excellent Tour! A must do experience! - It was an awesome tour. Our guide was amazing at making sure we were seeing all the highlighted spots in the city. He was even accommodating in adjusting the tour schedule to fit our needs of what our interests were. Book this tour! 10/10 experience.

Amber Cove Cruise Port Tour - I had an amazing tour during my cruise stop at Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. The guide was responsive and helpful, keeping me informed about where we were meeting and even took pictures along the way. We visited all the points as promised, and the lunch was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this tour!

This is the second time... - This is the second time with Emmanuel, we brought friends with us this time and we know they would enjoy this tour with him. He’s a warm and welcoming person, made us comfortable on this tour. The conversation, food and experience is TOP TEIR! Puerto Plata Experience - This was our second visit to Amber Cove, but our first time in Puerto Plata. We chose Alegian Tours for our excursion, and Manuel was our driver. He was patient, courteous, and kind throughout the experience.
Manuel narrated our excursion, guiding us to each point of interest (please note that entry to the Rum Factory was not included in the price) and ensuring that everyone was accounted for. The restaurant buffet was delicious, featuring dishes that reminded me of my childhood (and this meal was included in the price)..
Although it was drizzling that day, making the ocean waters a bit cold for swimming, the view of the Atlantic Ocean was breathtaking.
Manuel made sure we returned to the ship's port in time for our departure.
Overall, Manuel made us feel safe and secure during our time in Puerto Plata.
I would highly recommend this excursion if you are looking for a complete experience.

Great tour and great tour guide! - We had a wonderful tour guide Manuel. We had to meet him from our cruise ship and I reached out ahead of time with an email asking for directions. He got back with us right away and told us where to meet him. We ended up being the only ones on the tour, so we were able to customize it as we wished. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He had been a tour guide for 20 years and was a real benefit to this touring company. I would highly recommend this tour.

Good Tour - It was a tour of Puerto Plata. We saw all the iconic sites in town plus toured a cigar factory, jewelry store and other points of interest. Manuel was a very good host and guide and he related some interesting things along the way.
