Fun, adventurous day! - We had a fantastic day. Communication was excellent. Our driver, Ylanda was very professional and helpful. She kept us and our belongings safe while at the falls. She stayed with us the entire time and was very informative about the town. The actual tour guides at the falls were great as well. Funny, attentive and encouraging. They took personalized photos for us along the way. I would do this tour again. My only critique would be that it is advertised as a 27 falls tour when we actually only did 7. The other falls are not currently available which was a little mis-leading. .

Music Cruise Crew Hit the Waterfall Park - This Tour Coordinator was extremely helpful! My coworkers and I decided to book last minute the night before the tour around 11pm. After the booking, someone contacted me immediately to answer any questions. They were flexible and welcoming to additional friends joining and made it really easy by sending a driver with a van to provide additional space. We were in Puerto Plata working on a music cruise and were thrilled for an epic day off in the DR. We had no idea that the tour would come with a photographer - Giovani was really cool, his prices were affordable and he ensured hundreds of photos were transferred to us before we arrived back to port. It was very special to have these keepsakes of a memorable day. Hairold was our driver and he was kind, patient, took us into town so we could sightsee and became a friend by the time our adventure was over! We were honestly disappointed he couldn't join us on the waterfall tour because he really clicked w/ our group. The only part of the tour that I personally wish was better was the tour guide at the park. In transparency, we WERE delayed to our scheduled tour time due to, as I lovingly call it, "herding cats" (big group of very excited people) and the walk to the taxis being further than we expected. There were tours in front of us and immediately behind us, so it felt very rushed with little opportunity to fully take in and appreciate the beautiful foreign landscape or learn about the history of the area. He was hustling so fast it made it difficult for a couple people in our group to keep up. I saw most guides engaging with their guests on the trail and was admittedly a little disappointed that ours was so far ahead of us that it created a disconnect. He was energetically present & more engaging during the slides and jump. It's possible that the tour was this way due to our tardy arrival. Overall, I would recommend this tour and request Hairold if he is available to drive you! Wear close toed shoes, shorts and bring a waterproof case for your phone.

10/10 recommend - This was such an incredible experience. I highly recommend this tour. It’s a gorgeous walk with the most stunning views. To jump into the falls was like nothing I have ever done. Hands down would recommend. I’d do it again and again. Drivers were amazing. Photography was amazing. NO complaints at all. Even the food was fantastic.

Amazing!! Worth the hike! - Our driver was patient due to time miscommunication with boat time and local time. We had a blast. This was our second time doing this excursion and it did not disappoint.

It's a great adventure.... - It's a great adventure. Well organized. Experienced guides. Be prepared for a steady walk through a well curated path up and down stairways and through shallow water. Our driver, Daniel, picked us up from our hotel and took care of us the entire day.

Highly Recommend - Excellent adventure! The tour guides were phenomenal. They were funny, kept everyone safe and they really let us enjoy a good time. The slides and jump were so fun! The hiking was great. The waterfalls were beautiful. Highly recommend this trip. We had a private shuttle to and from the location and our driver was very kind and patient. We would definitely do this excursion again and maybe out on the zip lines next time. Communication with the operator was great as well

Still a Worthwhile Trip - The highlight was definitely our driver, Hairold, who was the best tour guide we’ve had this trip! Unfortunately, because of the weather (rain over the last few days), we were only able to see a small part of the waterfalls. Still it was fun to walk through the forest and hear the antics of the guides. We were able to jump off or slide down one of the falls and swim into one of the deep pools. The lunch was delicious. Things we wish we’d known that were maybe not so clear on this listing: you’ll be able to leave your things in the van with the driver. You don’t necessarily need to bring a change of clothes, but you might want to, in case you are still wet after lunch. Although it is a hike up, you still have to wear your water shoes, so it doesn’t matter what shoes you bring the morning of. Pack light as you go up the hill - it’s best to leave as much as you can in the van, because it’s going to get wet and it will be difficult - when you’re sliding or jumping - to have those things on you. There’s quite a bit of waiting and standing around time because there are various groups going up and down at the same time. You need to be fairly mobile and fit for this trip. It’s not a hard hike up, but the ground is quite unstable.

Lots of expectations on the site - We recently participated in this waterfall tour. The round trip transport went very well. Our guide was attentive, punctual and ensured our comfort throughout the journey. He also waited for us there, which was very appreciated. On the other hand, the organization on the waterfall site could be greatly improved. There was a very large number of visitors and the management of the group flow was inefficient, which led to a lot of waiting. Once they reached the waterfalls, too many people found themselves in the pools at the same time before jumping or sliding, creating a situation bordering on insecurity. We recommend better group and access management to make travel easier, reduce wait times and provide a more enjoyable and safe experience for all.
