It was about a 40 minute... - It was about a 40 minute drive in a van to the site from our cruise ship port. We were outfitted and waited for a while before starting the tour. This tour started with a long hike uphill. It was pretty strenuous but shady. The waterfalls were beautiful- the slides and jumps are pretty fast and big and we were completely submerged in water. Definitely glad I didn’t wear jewelry. The staff at the waterfalls seemed competent, and the staff for Ramona‘s tours were very nice. One staff took our photos that we could purchase at the end from him.

Overall, this experience... - Overall, this experience was fun, beautiful, and worth it! Our driver was so sweet and even told us a bit about the area on the drive out. We'd recommend sturdy water shoes, because these worked well for the hike and walking through the water. They were only $2 each to rent at the site, so worth it in our opinion. We just wore our swimsuits and (provided) helmet/life vest during the whole thing. You do have to walk up and down a decent amount of stairs, but it was not extremely challenging. Our guide mostly spoke to the group in Spanish, but we managed just fine as English speakers and were able to talk with the guide easily in English one-on-one. The natural rock slides were exciting, and the guides gave us the encouragement and push (sometimes literally) that we needed. It'll get your heart racing sometimes, but we felt very safe the entire time. Our guide carried a water proof bag and was able to store people's phones and sunglasses in there. Some people had waterproof cases. We didn't know about the bag before we left (I would ask your guide before starting) so we didn't have a phone to take pictures with. Our guide was kind enough to take pictures for us and send them to us after. The views in the ravine are stunning. We will never forget this experience and highly recommend it!

Better than Cruise Excursion - The hike to the Damajagua Waterfalls was absolutely beautiful! It’s only about a 30-minute ride from the port, and our driver was excellent. The waterfalls were so refreshing and beautiful, jumping into the water was unforgettable. I was even able to book last minute, and everything went perfectly. Much cheaper than the cruise excursion and with a smaller group, which made the whole experience feel more personal. Highly recommend!

Great experience - Great experience lots of fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and help full. Started with a 45 mins hike up the mountain. After which the fun begins. Water is cold but you won't realize it. The waterfalls flow one into the other. Lots and lots of fun.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Damajagua 7 Waterfalls Adventure in Puerto Plata! - We booked the Damajagua 7 Waterfalls with Ramon’s Tours and it was the highlight of our trip to the Dominican Republic! Pickup was easy and on time from our resort, the van was clean and air-conditioned, and the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe every step of the way.

Great and fantastic Experience!!! - I was booked 7 Waterfalls Adventure with Ramon’s and it was absolutely amazing! They picked us up right on time from the hotel, and the driver was super kind and welcoming. Once we arrived, we were introduced to our guide who was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and engaging. Everything was so well organized, and we really enjoyed every moment. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Fun and Adventurous! - Waterfall experience was slightly more adventurous than expected but very fun. Only got 3 pools/waterfalls, not 27 as advertised, but still a good experience. Our Ramon driver (Basilio) even made a special stop for us at a mini-market on the way back to pick up something we forgot to bring. Biggest challenge was figuring out where to find/meet Ramon Tours. The port facility at Taino Bay requires a 1/2 mile walk before exiting - most third party tour providers will be totally outside the facility. Better instructions would have been appreciated.

This is a physical... - This is a physical excursion. There is a 30 minute hike mostly on an incline to get to the waterfalls. Once you arrive it is an absolutely beautiful experience. Definitely recommended!

Overcrowded, unsafe experience with overzealous demand for tips. - Even though you book in a small group, be prepared to be with 40 other people. There is no personal experience and the guides give little to know direction. Before we got in our van, someone from the waterfall team practically stopped us from leaving demanding a tip.

Scam and Bad Service - Too bad. Once at the port came a man saying that our driver had left the keys at home and after waiting he rode us with a man in a taxi, apart from scamming us since what they announce is not what they give you later. I do not recommend it at all. Ramon's tours is called the Enterprise.
