Wonderful time - The monkeys were amazing. I was surprised by the variety of agricultural knowledge the tour guides had. We felt very safe everywhere we went. There was a lot to see. Our driver was friendly, helpful and shared a lot of information about the city and culture of the Dominican Republic.

Absolute great tour - This was such a great experience. Wady, our driver/guide was a wealth of information about the land and sites. He was very kind and also very flexible. He let us stop along Umbrella street and get ice cream, coffee and food. The staff at Monkey Mania were great and kind as well. Chandler and Alex answered any questions we had. They made sure you had an encounter with the monkeys. Can not say enough about nice things about this tour!! Highly recommend

Wonderful fun! - This was such a fun experience, and Wady, our taxi driver/guide provided a wealth of information while driving to and from our stops. He was flexible and so kind. The excursion ended up being longer than anticipated, so we were lucky to be able to see a little more than expected. The staff inside Monkey Mania were just as wonderful. Mario, Chandler and Alex were so much fun during Monkey time.

Monkeying Around in Puerto Plata - We had a great experience at Monkey Mania and exploring the city. Tamares had lots of interesting information about the city and country, and he answered all of our questions. He was very friendly. The monkeys were so funny and friendly. Sometimes they took me by surprise, but I was never scared. The city tour was beautiful. Lots of things to look at!

Amazing - Tamares was a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcomed and not rushed. He gave us information at each stop and around the towns. The monkeys were so fun. They peed on me so be aware of that! Chandler from monkey mania was also great and knowledgeable!

An amazing experience to get up close and personal to monkeys - Excellent trip to monkey mania! On the surface, establishments like this can seem to be a prison for the animals, but all the monkeys appeared really happy, well fed and clean and their enclosures were all spotless! The staff, Mario and Chidz, were especially helpful and knowledgeable and made it a really enjoyable experience

So good! - The monkey encounter excursion is one of the funnest experiences my family has ever had!! Everyone was so nice! Wady was a fantastic guide and taught us all about the island. He took us anywhere we wanted to go! Excellent experience!

Fantastic Tour – Highly Recommend! - We had such a great experience on our Monkey Home and City Tour in Puerto Plata! Our driver/guide was incredibly responsive, communicative, and friendly from the moment we booked. It was a nice small group of just six of us, and we were picked up right on time, which we really appreciated. The Monkey Home was an absolute blast! The guides there were super engaging and informative. After spending time interacting with the monkeys (so much fun!), we toured the property and learned about the different trees, vegetation, and locally grown crops. We even got to taste fresh coffee and chocolate, watch cigars being hand-rolled, and try some delicious local liquor. Afterward, we headed into downtown Puerto Plata where our driver/guide took us on a great tour of the historic areas. He was so fun and personable—he even took a picture with us! Overall, this tour was well-organized, full of great experiences, and led by people who clearly love what they do. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Monkeys everywhere, soft and sweet and very gentle. - Very friendly and professional. The van was very comfortable and air conditioner with free wifi. Would definitely recommend this excursion.
