• Mount Isabel de Torres - Your tour Host will lead you to the Christ Statue and along the botanical garden paths as well as assist with photos.
• Fortaleza San Felipe - You will explore the grounds of Fort San Felipe and discover Puerto Plata’s pirate past as well as learn of Puerto Plata’s special relationship with Queen Victoria.
• Umbrella Street - You will enjoy a stroll along Umbrella Street where you can step into a shop or have a cup of Dominican Coffee or nibble on organic chocolate from the Dominican Chocolatier (available for purchase).
• Paseo de Dona Blanca - Delight in this bright pink street and the wonderful photo opportunity it presents. Your Host will explain a bit about Dona Blanca.
• Parque Central Independencia - While at Parque Independencia (Independence Park), your Host will provide interesting information regarding the Dominican Republic’s declaration of Independence, Puerto Plata’s greatest hero, Gregorio Luperon, the restoration period and the Victorian Era. You will visit the cathedral and have a bit of free-time for photos or to step into a shop.

Journey to the highest point on the entire north coast of the Dominican Republic - the summit of Mount Isabela de Torres! Enjoy a leisurely ascent through the countryside and quaint villages. Upon reaching the summit, take in the breathtaking views and refreshing climate at nearly 3000 feet. Visit the Christ Statue, take a guided tour of the beautiful botanical gardens, and capture excellent photos before re-boarding for the scenic descent. Next, explore Puerto Plata’s historic district, featuring Umbrella Street, the grounds of Fort San Felipe, Paseo de Dona Blance (Pink Street), and Parque Independencia (Central Park). You will have the chance to enter the cathedral in Central Park before enjoying some free time to take photos or browse the shops. Bottled water is provided, and our signature rum punch is served throughout.

• The remaining (1 Hour and 40 minutes) will be allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.
