Top Notch Experience!!! - Glen and Xander were amazing hosts and very genuine people. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we got to spend with them. My friend and I have been smoking cigars for years. We were visiting DR and I wanted to visit a cigar maker. I'm not a cigar critic or afficionado. That said, I do know what I like and feel like a I know my way around a cigar. The boat excursion description didn't have much detail on cigar trip content, so I did some research on my own and came across Vivonte. Several reviews I saw mentioned Glen and Xander and how wonderful they were. It's all true. I took a shot and texted the number listed on Trip Advisors site. I got a response from Glen almost instantly, offering a tour of his place and to arrange transportation. I didnt realize at the time, but they aren't typically open on Sunday. He offered to meet us and never said a word about outside normal business hours. He sent me photos of the car/license plate/driver that would transport us, along with driver contact info. We arrived in Puerta Plata and went to the meeting spot. To my surprise, it was Glen and his son Xander that picked us up and brought us to Vivonte Cigars. It's a nice shop. The first floor has a small bar and sitting area with several leather couches/chairs. Perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy. The second floor has an AMAZING humidor and the cigar rolling stations. We told them what we liked and Xander brought us a Vivonte stick that matched our description. His choice was spot on. I like a stonger, more full-bodied, cigar. Xander brought me the Quevedo 56x6 and the cigar was exceptional. Very smooth yet stong and flavorful. Easy to light and burned very evenly, with firm ash. I could put it down to chat and resume smoking without missing a beat. We lit the cigars, sat down and talked sports, politics, family, and cigars. Before we knew it, 4+ hours had passed and we had covered a lot of ground. I could have easily stayed for another 4 hours and enjoyed Glen's company. We bought a bundle before leaving and it will not be my last purchase. I plan to make Vivonte a staple in my humidor. Vivonte's cigars are a steal for the quality and price. They are worth every penny. I am lookimg forward to introducimg the brand to all my friends. Glen arranged for the cab and Miguel picked us up and took us back to the port. If you're looking for a great cigar and conversation, give Vivonte a go. You won't be disappointed. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!!! Glen and Xander, if you're ever in MA, give me a shout. Essential DR experience - I can’t think of a better way to spend just a few hours in Dominica. Xander (apologies if misspelled) was an incredibly welcoming host and knowledgeable guide, and the cigars themselves were absolutely top notch. A must for anyone with a love of cigars, and I fully intend to return.

A relaxing oasis in the hectic day - Glen, the owner, was very helpful and communicative leading up to our visit. We had a great time just relaxing, having drinks and cigars, and visiting. Very laid back and chill atmosphere. I highly recommend it and if I find myself back in the area I will certainly stop back in.

Must Do Cigar Factory Tour! - We recently went on a cruise that stopped in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic—on the very day of our 25th wedding anniversary! Knowing how much my husband loves his cigars, I decided to book this tour, and let me tell you—we had the BEST time! Glen and his son are truly wonderful people. We ended up sitting and chatting with them for quite a while as we enjoyed some amazing cigars. Glen arranged a personal driver for us, and his son even walked us to a local restaurant so we could enjoy some authentic Dominican food before we left—he knew I was on a mission for some local flavor! We’re already hoping to fly back to the area just to visit them again. That’s how much we loved our experience!

Great tour and the time chatting with the owner and his son was very rememberable - Glen the owner and his son Sander were the best hosts. They arranged a private transport from the cruise port to their facility. My son got to roll his own cigar at their facility. The cigars are blended nicely with premium tobacco and they were consistent throughout the entire smoke. A small boutique cigar maker but definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend.

Awesome tour! - It was amazing! Glen and his son were very welcoming and opening to us, and it was so much more than a tour. We had drinks, smoked cigars and chatted, as well as got a personal tour of their business. If I’m ever back in the DR I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Great cigars and an even better staff! - Me and my Fiance Taylor had the pleasure of stopping here in our day in the Dominican on our cruise. We got some cigars and cocktails and went on the tour. Vayron was a fantastic guide, super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the cigar making process and even got to roll one ourselves. The cocktails the bartender made us were great, and we got to try some Mama Juana (Super Delicious). My only regret is not getting a bundle of cigars to go. I picked up a couple and was super impressed with the quality, I've been craving some ever since. Thanks to our guide Vayron and the bartender for making our day trip fun and memorable! Will definitely be ordering some cigars and hopefully stopping back in sometime if we may our way back to the Dominican!

No More Big Brand Cigars For Me! - What an amazing experience! Truly exceptional cigars with quality I’ve not experienced with even top of the line big brands. The tour itself was really informative about both Vivonte and the cigar making process. But, what really made the experience the best were the people there! Owner Glen was great start to finish. My wife booked the tour and Glen stayed in touch every step of the way. He even saved us some money (and made safety a priority) by suggesting he send a local driver to get us. The driver, Jonathan, was friendly and helpful, providing us with some local info and places to see and at half the price the port taxis would have charged. When we arrived, Vayron greeted us, got us a couple of Cuba Libras to drink and then suggested some cigars to try based on our taste profiles. With cigars lit, we then went upstairs to tour the factory process and my wife and I even got to roll our own cigars with help from one of the ladies. You can tell they all take great pride in the work they do and are skilled in their craft. After, we went back to the bar to finish our cigars and try a cup of their own coffee, which also was fantastic! Side note: the Vivonte Cameroon pairs nicely with coffee. Vivonte will now be my “go to” when ordering on line. No more big brands for me! I may not have to order for a while since, I went home with more than can fit in my current humidor. When we

Glen was great! - Very interesting. Glen was gracious and we ended up hanging out most of the the day there. He provided us with transportation to and from. I even got to roll my own cigar to take home! Very fun time.
