Great service/experience but vendors nog so much!! - Joseph was amazing! Very accommodating and friendly loved his country and gave us great pointers for next time. We did not like how pushy the vendors were in the countryside except Julian!! Man he was amazing! But others did not give us room to look. Also beware of those asking you if you want pictures as they were trying to push for us to pay them more. It was very uncomfortable.

Tour of Puerta Plata - It was a go at your own pace, our diver/guide, Alan Lantigua was fantastic. Couldn't be any nicer or knowledgeable. Since it was a private tour Alan had laid out the itinerary and my wife and I were abe to add or subtract places to visit. Highly recommend Alan and to definetly go private

We got to see a lot of... - We got to see a lot of different areas of the city. We could also make the tour what we wanted it to be. We skipped the chocolate factory.

Puerta Plata - Love that the guide ( Jesus Castro ) really did personalize it for us and was so accommodating and did so with a genuine smile! He even took us to the grocery store to get snacks before the beach ! Fun to take photos of umbrella street and the Pink walkway and then relax for a bit having lunch and a drink without paying extra for lounge chairs or umbrellas

We enjoyed our day with... - We enjoyed our day with Jhon. Because it was a private tour, he allowed us to stay longer at the places we were most interested in and skim past others we weren’t. He is such a calm person…perfect for a chill vacation vibe on the crazy streets of Puerta Plata

Great day!!! - We had so much fun with Elian!! he was so nice and really showed us around Puerto Plata. He’s a great picture taker and took us to all the places that we wanted to go and we got to go to the beach for a little while as well.
He was very flexible with the schedule, we were worried about the rain, but it held out for our tour. We had a great time at the rum tour!!
Definitely do this tour if you are in Puerto Plata, it’s a family run business and Elian and his dad are great people!

Great day in Puerto Plata - We enjoyed our half day with Alan. He met us at the cruise port in Puerto Plata. He drove us through the city and explained the history of Puerto plata. He provided us with cold beer and water. We went to the Rum museum and then walked through the pink and umbrella streets. We ended at nice beach and went swimming. It was a great day.
