Wonderful experience! - I truly enjoyed the tour. The private experience allowed us to tailor the tour to what we wanted to do and experience along with being on our own time. The tour guide Lucilo was awesome. Very knowledgeable and had so much pride in his country. He also had great communication leading up to when we met. My husband and I had such a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Best taxi service in puerta plata - Lucio was amazing. One of the most tentative and caring taxi drivers I have ever had. He took my Fiance and I around and explained the best places to go and for the best prices. We didn’t have to touch our luggage or our doors. I highly recommend him to anyone who visits puerta plata. We will be returning again and won’t use any other taxi driver except him. Thanks Lucilo for the best service.

Join Lucilo for a great tour in Puerto Plata! - Had a great tour with Lucilo in Puerto Plata. He was high energy and shared his passion for Puerto Plata with us. He was very communicative prior to our arrival, answering questions and preparing us for our tour. It was a wonderful overview and experience during our short time on a cruise stop.

Lucilo made it all worthwhile! - Lucilo was our guide and he was awesome! He took us everywhere we wanted to go and was very informative. We loved learning about Puerto Plata and saw the countryside and the things people did there. We were a bit disappointed with the cigar (factory) and chocolate (factory) because they were basically stores where they wanted to sell us things. Other than that the tour was great!

Outstanding Service and Day with Lucilo - Lucilo was such a wonderful taxi driver/ guide for my mother and I during our cruise stop in Puerto Plata! We just wanted to go to the beach and he went out of his way to give us a great tour of the city and took us to two beaches and was very patient with us and took us wherever we wanted to go! Would highly highly recommend him anytime for a tour! Thank you Lucilo :)

Totally recommend this tour! - Lucilo was absolutely amazing! We had the best time on this tour and learnt a lot about Puerto plata. Lucilo was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the local community and cultures. He was very passionate about introducing us to puerto plata and we had a blast! It was very fun to try the local coffee and chocolate (It was very, very good). The pink street and umbrella street was fabulous. Lucilo helped us take lots of photos too so we snagged up lots of family photos! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting puerto plata, you will enjoy it and have lots of fun!

Great private tour of Puerto Plata - Lucilo Garcia was a great guide. He contacted me ahead of time to confirm the pickup spot. Because it was just our group, we were able to tailor it to what we wanted to see. He also took us to a place that others would not ever go to. He had water, soda, and local adult beverages in the van. The van was clean and he made us feel safe everywhere we went. As an fyi, the actual chocolate factory is 40 min away so you actually just go to a store where they give you all the samples.

Have a plan in place before you depart the port - Have a plan of places you would like to see or visit prior to departing the port, otherwise the driver may take you a ways away from the city to a small family run shop where you will be pressured to buy local goods that they will tell you are homemade but are really just store purchased and sold to you at a ridiculous markup.

Tour operator was a no-show. - The tour operator did not provide the tour. We had to find an alternate activity at the port. The other vendors at the port were very helpful in locating the vendor, but he refused to send a guide.
