Participants will visit the cathedral and drive along the Malecon, with a brief photo stop at Neptune’s Statue, located on an islet just off the coast. There will be a short facilities stop at a resort area before heading to a more mountainous region, passing by colorful, traditional houses. The tour includes a stop at a local fruit stand and a visit to a colmado, reminiscent of an old-fashioned corner store. After visiting a mountain lodge to sample Dominican coffee and enjoy sweeping valley views, the tour will return to Playa Dorada for a leisurely stroll along the beach boardwalk and a refreshing rum punch.
