Embark on an enchanting journey through a stunning tropical forest, traversing a suspension bridge and streams while exploring the diverse flora, fauna, and medicinal plants en route to a natural pool. Start your nature adventure with a fully narrated drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned van or mini-bus to the trek’s starting point, where you’ll have time for restroom breaks, a brief orientation, and a safety briefing, with all necessary safety gear provided. Your enthusiastic guide will help identify tropical birds and plants along the trail. Discover the traditional uses and medicinal properties of various plant roots, leaves, and flowers. Enjoy splashing across streams and taking in the scenery on your way to a natural forest pool and cascade, where you can opt for a refreshing swim. Afterward, you’ll trek back to the starting point, with time to change or use the facilities before reboarding your bus or mini-van for a lively return to the port, complete with merengue music and complimentary rum punch.

- Participants will cross small streams in order to arrive at the waterfall. Appropriate footwear is required (water shoes, sneakers that can get wet or sport sandals with a back strap). Participants who do not arrive with appropriate footwear will be required to rent shoes for $2 once at the hike start point
