Fun & adventurous family excursion! Highly Recommend! - My family of 5 ( 3 kids ages 23,21& 18) had a great day with Alfredo, who was very entertaining and informative.. Waterfalls were so refreshing & fun and buggies were awesome! Unlike some other recent reviews, the buggy company (Super Buggies) provided helmets free of charge and were very concerned about safety, ensuring our seatbelts and helmets were on properly and gave us instructions on how to drive safely. We drove through water many times with huge splashes, got soaked & so many laughs! We were at the waterfalls for approx 3 hours and buggies for 2 ( including stops at a local shop with some chocolate and coffee tastings) & for a swim in the ocean). A photographer was with us throughout the day and took such amazing pictures of our family together, that we purchased for the lasting memories.Thank you Alfredo for ensuring my family had an amazing & safe experience!

Take the trip you won’t regret it - Take the trip but be aware it is challenging experience. The guides help you every step of the way. We were on NCL Escape and booked through them due to videos I had seen online. The trip is long but so worth it. There were 3 slides and a 12’ jump (or slide for those who don’t want to jump). Water was very refreshing and if you get an early departure time and go there first you should have no waits. Take a Powerade or powder for supplement. Lockers are $8 and a flash drive of pictures (photographers provided) for $80. Buggy ride was ok - driving though the little town was not for me. Husband enjoyed it.

Family trip - We booked this tour waterfalls and dune buggy for our cruise stop at Dominican Republic. The pick up taxi was waiting for us upon our arrival. Santos was very nice and helpful. Communicated via Google translate. Our tour included Transfers from the cruise ship to the waterfalls with a guide and a photographer following us during the tour. We walked 40 minutes to start at the top of the waterfalls to slide on all 7 of them. We all had a great time and 2 eight yrs old in our family loved it as well. After the waterfalls we went dune buggy for about 45 minutes. And was transported back to the cruise ship 1 hour early. Our driver made stops for coconut and souvenirs. We highly recommend this tour. I say minimum age to go is 7 yrs old. No toddler for dune buggy and waterfalls.

Well with it! - The adventure was everything we expected it to be. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. They provided lifejackets and helmets and we appreciated how they periodically would stop to check to make sure everyone was keeping up with the group. The seven of us were in a group with approximately 10 to 15 other people. When we got off the cruise ship, we had to walk a little ways, but we did find the people in the green (I think) shirts that we were supposed to find. It was a little confusing because when we asked for the name on the ticket, that person wasn’t there, but the taxi driver knew that we were supposed to be attending this excursion. He had to call the person on our ticket to confirm. We then got in taxi van and drove for about 20 to 30 minutes Until we reached the park. The taxi driver was very friendly and explained a lot of the scenery on the way. What we didn’t know or expect was the somewhat strenuous hike. We hiked for about 30 to 40 minutes and a lot of it was a steep incline so just be aware. The water adventure was so much fun! When they tell you to cross your arms in front of you, please make sure you do that. Both my husband and I ended up with scrapes on our elbows from hitting the rock and he scraped his shoulder as well. They were patient with us jumping off of the small cliff. It was a lot of fun! The walk back was enjoyable and then we got back in the taxi and drove for another 20 minutes to the dune buggies. They provided goggles and then recommended us wearing handkerchiefs around our face that they sold for five dollars. We didn’t buy them, but we did hold our shirts over our faces because it is necessary. I recommend bringing a face covering. The only thing we didn’t like was the taxi driver kept saying something about paparazzi. We ended up, pulling off the side of the road to pick up a person with a camera who hopped in the taxi. It made us feel a little uncomfortable. That person spent the day with us taking pictures and then asked us to pay $145 for them. We weren’t aware that this was something that was going to be done. While the pictures were very good, we did end up buying them for a discounted price, however, we didn’t like the feeling of being taken advantage of.

Waterfalls were... - Waterfalls were wonderful. Taxi driver and photographer were great as well. Glad my husband speaks Spanish otherwise it would have been hard to communicate effectively. The dune buggy was extremely disappointing, the lack of safety precautions- no helmets, goggles or masks (even mentioning to bring own would have been helpful) several buggies stopped working mid trip and we had to wait while they fixed. This was definitely not worth time or money. Again the waterfall experience was wonderful.

Waterfalls great! Dune buggies not so much! - The waterfalls were great! The dune buggies however was a terrible experience. Everyone's buggies kept breaking down, we didn't stop anywhere the tour said we would stop, and noone ever offered goggles or bandanas to use or rent so we were sandblasted the entire time. Would not recommend that part of the tour to anyone, and frankly would like some sort of refund or credit for only getting to enjoy half of the excursion I paid for.

Do Not book this beware - The waterfalls are ok but not the same as 2024. Drying up! But the worst are the buggy’s that are trash. I can’t explain to Do Not Do This! They broke down over and over again. Going down dirt roads and never getting to a trail. These things look so back yard scary. We almost missed our ship due to all the problems on the buggies. We didn’t even get 45 minutes of dirt road out of a 1.5 hour excursion. We were scared and most places had helmets, face mask n goggles. They had nothing but to rent them for a super over priced amount. I hope Viator drops this sketchy place off their list! We had to demand to take us back to our van because so many of our friends got stranded.
