- Puerto Princesa City Baywalk Park - The Baywalk in Puerto Princesa overlooks the Puerto Princesa Bay and is a key tourist attraction in the city. It is a popular spot for locals, especially in the mornings, where they enjoy walking, exercising, and jogging while taking in the scenic views of the bay and nearby mountains. In the afternoons, numerous restaurants and souvenir shops welcome both locals and international visitors. It’s an ideal place to relax.
- Plaza Cuartel - Plaza Cuartel is a historical site, a restored ruin of an old garrison camp where Japanese soldiers tragically burned approximately 150 American prisoners of war in a tunnel beneath the park’s portal. This plaza is located in the port area, adjacent to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral and Rizal Park.
- Immaculate Conception Cathedral - The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a significant religious and historical landmark in Palawan. This Spanish-era church is situated across from the historic Plaza Cuartel. The Cathedral is an exquisite example of Gothic architecture, featuring two belfries and a neo-gothic interior. It serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa.
- Baker’s Hill - Originally a private property, Baker’s Hill has transformed into a tourist destination with a park, bakeshop, and restaurants for both locals and international visitors to enjoy. It is an excellent place to purchase baked goods.
- Mitra’s Ranch - Known as Mitra’s Ranch, Rancho Mitra is located on a hilltop offering views of Honda Bay and the Sulu Sea. Once the residence of a former politician, it is now open to the public. Visitors can appreciate the open space, relaxed atmosphere, and the unique chalet-style architecture of the main house.
- Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center - Also referred to as the Crocodile Farm and Nature Park, this is a popular city destination. It serves as a breeding ground for Philippine crocodiles and is home to some endangered animals. Tourists have the opportunity to pet and hold baby crocodiles. The facility is dedicated to conserving two endangered crocodile species found in the Philippines: the saltwater crocodile and the endemic freshwater crocodile. Visitors can learn fascinating facts about these reptiles, the only known survivors from the Dinosaur age.
