- Yokahu Observation Tower - This 69-foot tower was constructed by Dr. Frank H. Wadsworth (former Forest Supervisor and Director of IITF) in the early 1960s. Four types of forest can be seen from Yokahú Tower: Colorado (smooth to the south), Tabonuco (irregular surroundings with white-leaved Yagrumos), Palm (on the steep slopes), and Cloud Forest (on the ridges) are all visible, along with the coastline and even the Virgin Islands on a clear day (10+ mile view). The dense old forest of the Baño de Oro Research Natural Area in the upper Mameyes Valley to the east is also visible.
- Playa Luquillo - 3:30pm to 5:30pm - Spend two hours at Luquillo Kioskos beach for lunch and relaxation before heading to the Bio Bay Night Kayaking Tour. There are many varieties of kiosks and restaurants, and after lunch, enjoy the beach.
- Laguna Grande - 6:00pm - Bio Bay Night Kayaking Tour - After visiting the kiosks, head to the Bio Bay Night Kayaking in Parque Pasivo Las Croabas in Fajardo Town. Paddle towards the Mangrove Forest and Laguna Grande Reserve; the tour lasts 1.5 hours, and all equipment is provided.

An exposition on Puerto Rican heritage, along with live commentary and interpretation of the surroundings, is available in both English and Spanish throughout the tour. Upon arrival at the Rainforest, participants will embark on a nature walk (be cautious of wet, uneven terrain) through the flora until reaching the river stream. Remember to bring a towel and swimsuit! (Swimming is subject to weather conditions) After this, the group will return to their accommodations.
