- El Yunque Hiking Area - Embark on a half-day forest tour for your amusement. We will drive to a great area in the foothills of the Rain Forest with permit YNF-22007. The tour will start with an interpretative hike in the forest. You will be able to learn about the fascinating Puerto Rican Flora, Fauna Geography, and History. In the area, you will also be able to swim in a beautiful river pool. Swinging from a rope to the river is optional but highly recommended. After the visit to the forest, you will taste authentic local snacks like “empanadas” and “alcapurrias” in a very authentic kiosk. On the way back to the metropolitan area the drive will give you some recommendations of restaurants, and things to see and do on this beautiful island called Puerto Rico.

Rain Forest Tour - Luis was very knowledgeable and a genuine pleasure. The El Yunque experience had its own uniqueness. Would recommend.

It was really nice... - It was really nice because we got to do a very short hike so we could actually see Flora and Fana, but it wasn’t so exhausting that children couldn’t do it. We saw a hummingbird in a nest and that was really nice at our tour guide was very knowledgeable

Good times in El Yunque! - It was a fun way to see some of the rainforest in PR. Diana was very informative and attentive. Water shoes would be a good idea for the swim in the river. I recommend the trip.

Book it & enjoy. Our guide Luis had all organized and the transportation very clean, a/c & working seatbelts - Great tour on the trail to top. Lots of education provided by Luis about the foliage, specialized walking stick bug & overall excellent. Professional guide who lives in area, took good care of my family. Hike, lunch at local roadside stand (not included) skewars chicken shrimp pork were $5 or $7 . Gelato icream w texture if sherbett $5. Full cup. We had rainbow & think it had guava, yummy.
Stopped at real river, some went swimming water was clean clear.

Just what we wanted - We had a wonderful guide. She was very informative and we learned a great deal about the history of the island. We didn’t want anything too strenuous but wanted to experience a bit of the rain forest. We were glad we had hiking shoes because the trail was a bit slippery in spots. The longest walk we did in the forest was 1/2 a mile. We didn’t really need swimsuits. We were fine just wading in the river. Water shoes would have been nice because the shore and river are rocky. We had a nice stop for lunch at a roadside food stand. For anyone who doesn’t want the water slide tours etc, this is a great alternative.

The tour guide made it very enjoyable - It was incredible! Wild life everywhere and the tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and very nice and polite.

Old San Juan and Rainforest Tours - We had two great tour with PR Tour Desk to Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest! The guides were so informative. I wish they provided raincoats as we got drenched! It wasn’t an item we packed from home and needed. I also wish the guides would take photo of the guests (take some lessons too) because it was hard to capture the memories.

Diana was incredibly... - Diana was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming! She brought us to some great views and seemed to know exactly where to find interesting plants. She also knew about Puerto Rican history, and gave us recommendations for exploring more. I would recommend this trip to all ages and ability levels.

Rain - We never made it to the rainforest because of rain. I requested a refund but didn't get one. The guide said to request a refund.
