The adventure begins in the historic center of Puerto Vallarta, where participants will board local urban transport heading south, just like the residents do!

After a brief 15-minute ride, the group will disembark and commence a walk through the lush tropical forest. Along the way, there will be opportunities to discover a variety of plants and animals and gain insights into the river ecosystem.

The trek follows a rugged trail that varies with rainfall and crosses the river several times.

After an hour of hiking, with breathtaking mountain views, the first waterfall is reached. Here, participants can capture photos, take a short break, and enjoy water and fruit. A refreshing swim with fish in the small lake between the rocks is also an option.

For those seeking more adventure, an additional path leads to another series of waterfalls.

The journey concludes at a lookout point high above the jungle, offering a stunning view of the bay!

April - June: During the dry season, the Quimixto waterfall is visited as an alternative, with boat transport provided.
