Family fun! - Amazing family experience! Our 9&10 yr old girls loved the zip line, waterslide, and bananna boat experience. Tons to do so do your homework to sort out what you would like to do. Even then, we had a few hours at the end to enjoy the beach and snorkeling and IMO was just the right amount of time. Wish I wore teva sandals as zip line, slide, etc (activity zone) is a bit of a walk and can't take slippers on the zip line.

Paradise - No matter if you're an adult or a child, you will find fun activities to do and attend to. People there are very welcoming and kindhearted, food is immaculate and the surroundings are breathtaking. I am super happy that I got to see Las Caletas.

It's not just a beach, it's adventure - The amazing boat tour, excellent service, delicious food (I just feel they lack a little more variety)
The activities inside are too much fun and the care they provide excellent, however minimal the support you need
Jewel support in zip line 🌟
If I would also like to add that time is very necessary then, perhaps extending the schedule more would be good option since you are in a hurry to be able to do all possible activities

Coves in Couple - I feel that the time of stay in Caletas was short, did not give us time to do all the activities but we had a great time.
The welcome cue was not spectacular, personally I would recommend jumping it and that time take advantage of it for activities.
We took the Mezcal tasting with April, had an amazing time. My first time trying cricket 😶
We couldn't get on the banana because there was no...
Near the platforms there are many beautiful fish and some puffer fish!
We make the reservation online and purchase the same package of photographs. It's better for us.
While we waited in the hammocks for people to come to board after the meal, I picked up about 15 cigarette butts from the sand and more remained, they should have a smoking area or if necessary emphasize that they use ashtrays , because when the tide rises will pull the butts.
The staff was very good!
Essentials to consider:
Boarding approx 8:30 am
Arrival coves approx 9:30 am
Food 1:30 pm
Boarding return 2:30 pm
Arrival PVR 3:30 approx
If you get dizzy easy carry pill 💊
Watch out for bad water and jellyfish
Between waiting to board the catamaran as well as returning when you finish the meal and waiting to board again are subtracted about 3 hours from the actual stay in Caletas.
They currently have two floating platforms, in 2018 I went there were 3. And people expand which makes it difficult to use them.
Last but not least I think they should, as in some other parks, promote the use of biodegradable blockers, otherwise they should not be allowed to be used.

Six hour tour includes the hour boat ride. - 6 hour tour. Approximately 3 hours of the tour is being on a boat going to and from the island. There isn't a hike. It's kind of a jungle theme park.
Lots to do and a good lunch is included. Very helpful and plentiful assistants.

Decent but busy and expensive - I thought it was decent but expensive. I wanted to take my kids 8 and 6 on one excursion while we were on vacation. Same thing as others said not much info from the person telling us about it at the hotel. I booked it online tho. Boat ride was kind of fun. Nice boat with bathrooms and the staff was good. Lots of alcohol too if you like that. About 2 hours each way from Nuevo. You stop in pv to pick up more people. Almost $800 cad for 4 people plus taxis and $10 cad for port fees. Lunch is a buffet similar to resorts. It was decent tho. My kids did the adventure park which was fun and pretty well run. We had about 1.5 hours left after that. The beach is beautiful and fun to explore although quite busy. Not enough chairs and stuff tho. We did a little snorkeling, swimming and exploring which was great. Then had a couple drinks on the way back. All in all a fun, but very busy excursion.

Good, not great - First, let’s start with what is good. The area is really beautiful and peaceful. They aren’t kidding. The sand is pristine. The food was surprisingly pretty tasty. When we arrived, there was a breakfast taco, some sweet bread, and fruit. It wasn’t large, but they did allow us to have a second taco, which was nice. Then at lunch, there was a small buffet that was decent. And there are drinks available everywhere.
There is so much to do at Las Caletas, definitely too much to do for the given time. We had a little over four hours including breakfast and lunch. We tried to go to the kids adventure, sea lion encounter, and a 30-minute massage, and it felt like too much. Be very thoughtful about what you choose to spend your time on and plan ahead. I wish there was more information ahead of time on all the activities so we could have come in with a better plan.
The sea lion encounter was a lot of fun. The trainer was skilled and knowledgeable and made the experience fun. The only downside is that despite paying for the premium experience, a lot of the experience centered around taking photos, which were not included. There are a lot of photo services provided, and they were reasonably well done, but they were very expensive, even beyond my high expectations. If I were you, I would assume that you are not going to see any of the photos that they take. Prices ranged from $40 to over $250. At a more reasonable price I 100% would have purchased. I was especially disappointed that there weren’t any photos at all included for experiences that I already paid for!
The biggest problem was the boat ride. Online it says it is a 45-minute boat ride from PV, but this is really misleading. First, even from central PV, it is a one-hour boat ride. You get on board and the first announcement is “it’s going to be about an hour.” The second reason is that central PV isn’t the only stop. We got on at the north stop in Nuevo Vallarta. For us, it was an extra 30 minutes to get to central PV, plus an extra 15+ minutes to load everyone from that station. We basically spent four hours on the boat and four hours on location :/ Had it been six hours on location and two hours on a boat, we would have had a much better day.
The crew tried their hardest to make the ride feel short with a big dance and show, but the effort was undercut by the execution. The music on the way back was SO LOUD. I have 3 kids exhausted and trying to nap from a busy day in the sun and they are playing music at 100db for an hour. I legit should have brought ear plugs. The other problem is that some of the dance and performance was a little suggestive. It wasn’t too bad; I wouldn’t have had a problem with it if this wasn’t one of the few activities advertised as being for families. I will say that the crew was working hard, and the break dancer in particular was impressive.
We originally booked a monkey encounter, but it was cancelled. A representative helped us rebook with sea lions. She was helpful but didn’t confirm the time as promised. We had to search her out on this unknown island while managing our kids and the short time available on the island. Once we did, I appreciated her help and for getting us rebooked. As with much of the experience: good, not great.

Be aware of “milking the Americans for everything they can” - Great location but staff on the boat over was “snarky “ the we pd extra for sea lion interaction and they were rude about pictures then only way to have memories was almost 200 which is MORE than the tour …. An amazing location and experience ruined by snarky staff and “180” pictures…. Milk the Americans for everything we can.

Not attending this adventure again. - The boat ride there and back was entertaining. You are told at the resort very little, 8 hours to do: zip lining, repelling waterslides, waterfalls, monkey petting area, snorkeling, scuba diving, BBQ on the beach Sounds great... It's an excursion you have to pay per experience when you get there... most of them. Be prepared to climb tons of stairs and sandy rock ways. The shore is not as pictured on the map provided. Slide is free (1/10), zipline from shore into the ocean was free. Thank goodness because the day we went, we were stung by hundreds of jelly fish, and the crew does nothing to help you get out of the water quickly.(0/10) They just stare at you as you get stung, and children around you are screaming. It's not great. Poorly organised. Food (3/10) Surf table was great, (10/10) put a smile back in my daughters face. 8 hours included 3 hours of travel on/off the boat, 1 there 1 back. So it's all very rushed and hard to navigate. As they did not tell us, we arrived at 10 and had to load on the boat at 2. This is my second tour with the company, and the Zipline tour I took before was 100 times better.

Not worth the stress.. - I recently spent a day at Las Calestas, and while there were many high points, the experience was marred by issues with the company running the tour.
The beach and overall day at Las Calestas were absolutely amazing. The location itself is stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop for a day filled with fun activities. From kayaking and paddle boarding to zip lines and slides, there’s truly something for everyone. The boat ride to the island was a gorgeous 1½-hour journey, and while you should be aware of the birds overhead (a minor nuisance—covering your head might be wise!), they’re just part of the natural setting.
Upon arrival, the staff efficiently helped families sign up for various activities, which made the day run smoothly. The culinary offerings did not disappoint: you’re welcomed with tacos (including beans and zucchini) and a delicious cake, followed by a delightful lunch buffet at 1:20 PM that featured an impressive spread and delectable desserts.
However, my biggest complaint lies with the company’s management. Despite the tour being advertised as a “full day” experience starting at 10:30 AM, things took a turn at 4:00 PM when a worker informed my family that our boat had left. Shockingly, no one had notified us that there was only one boat returning to Nuevo Vallarta at a set time, nor were there any announcements about the departure. We were then told we had to pay an additional $168 to stay longer. Had we known the boat was leaving, we would have left immediately since we’d already enjoyed all the activities on offer.
To add insult to injury, after a heated discussion, the company insisted that if we didn’t pay, they would drop us off in Puerto Vallarta, forcing us to find our own way to Nuevo Vallarta by taxi. They even tried to pressure us into buying our photos for $350. Conversations with other guests and hotel staff later revealed that this wasn’t an isolated incident; the company appears to target certain families to scam extra money.
In summary, while the natural beauty, fun activities, and delicious food at Las Calestas make it a great destination, the disorganized and opportunistic management completely overshadowed an otherwise perfect day.
