Relaxing Soak in the Mountains - Eduardo is such an amazing guide and person. The trip feels less like a tour and more like having a local friend take you on a day out. He knows the area well and tells you interesting tidbits along the way. The hot spring itself is amazing. He makes sure we have plenty of time to spend at the pool to thoroughly take in the sights and relax. On the way back we stopped at a local restaurant for delicious tacos. It was a wonderful and super enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

The best nature walk, hot spring, and un-touristy adventure with a guide who loves his "job." - Peaceful nature walk that follows a beautiful river to the hot spring pools. A absolute wonderful way to begin your morning. Eduardo was friendly and generous with local information and a history of his culture. Hot pools had a lovely view of the river and canyon. I experienced the clay amazing massage, too! I can't wait to do this again!

The other side of Puerto Vallarta - Wonderful tour away from the city and to relax in nature. Eduardo is a thoughtful guide and very knowledgeable! The walk is quite easy but be prepared to walk in water (water shoes are best because the river bottom is rocky). So much fun and so beautiful to bathe in the hot water and cool off in the creek. Definitely recommend!

Great guide, great hike and awesome hot pools! - Great day with guide Edgar Eduardo, hiking to hot springs in the mountains. The hike is easy, crossing lovely streams as you go. The hot pools are very warm and relaxing and cooling off in the river feels great. Be sure to meet David who lives part time at the pools and experience his mud facial and amazing massage. A great day and highly recommended for an excursion that takes you out to enjoy nature. Edgar is very knowledgeable and personable. He introduced us to birria tacos on the way home at a local roadside restaurant. Delicious!

A Fantastic Morning in the Hot Springs! - Edgar was so kind and knowledgeable! He was very willing to share local spots to eat and things to do. It was fun to go on a hike away from the normal touristy spots. On the way to the hike Edgar picked up Mexican hot chocolate and cookies for us which were both amazing! I’ve been craving those cookies ever since. The hot springs were nice and warm and located right next to the river, so if you got too hot you could just cool down in the river. A very enjoyable few hours.

Great trip - Our guide, Eduardo, was wonderful. He helped us through the river crossings. The hiking was great. Such a beautiful and peaceful area. Hot springs were a real treat. We are always looking for something different to do in the Puerto Vallarta area. If you want a “nature” day this is it.

Beautiful nature walk and hot springs - The hot springs and nature walk was excellent. We went in morning so we had hot pools for our group and the great sounds of nature. Great time for our group, is different than other tours. I have to give less than 5 stars as the “includes advertised has private transportation and water/Fruit/sandwich”, so we were not prepared for peso for public bus ride and did not bring our own snacks for the 5 hour outing. The hot springs timing could be slightly shorter. This walk is not for everyone, you do need water shoes not just sandals. You walk through thigh high steams, the current was moderate. You need to walk on uneven surfaces, so stability is required. The rocks can be slippery and to get in the pools you need to be able to step over the side. Our guide was very nice and environmentally friendly, in tune with nature. Value for money was not great, as not as advertised.

Nice to have seen, but really too expensive. - Friendly guide (other than Eduardo), who adapted to us. A visit to the cafe for a drink beforehand, was fine We had a tour to the hotsprings, this included a walk of about 30 minutes to the hotpools where the guide said on arrival that we would stay there for 2 hours. 3 hot pools were against each other. They were idd hotpools, which was nice, but sitting in a bath the size of a bubble bath for 2 hours was really too long for us. When we asked to shorten it, this was listened to carefully! Walk back was the same route. Minus was mainly the length of time at the hotpool and the price of the excursion. For what you get in return, really too pricey as far as we're concerned.
