Fun and action-packed adventure - Fun and action-packed tour. Got to see so many different parts of Puerto Vallarta, most off the beaten path. Ivan and Juan were excellent guides. Highly recommended !

Great fun! - Hugo is a great tour guide— professional, personable, fun and witty. We had tons of fun on this excursion and would highly recommend it! I also enjoyed the stops along the way for photos and food. The path/roads can get bumpy so be prepared for that. You may hit a muddy area or two as well. Fun, fun, fun!

Outstanding - Alex and Ryan were our guides and were fantastic. The stop at the top for lunch and tequila mescal tasting was really wonderful.

Great E-bike city/ mountain guided tour - I loved the mountain bike tour. Hugo was an excellent guide. He explained how the bike works and what not do. During the tour he kept a close eye and alerted upcoming watch outs etc. The tour is quite varied in terrain, starting through downtown before heading up the mountain. You must be prepared for high speed, some bumps, some twists and turns and sharing the road occasionally. All in all exciting and well worth it if you are careful and cautious. There are some dangers but that’s what we seek. Hugo knows people on the route and we stopped for a delicious taco lunch and a swim in a very refreshing natural fresh water pool. Much better than the global burned hot ocean. The bike has a saddle bag, bring a towel and take a dip. Also sunscreen. Hugo provided bottled water.

Group of 6 Ride - Juan, our guide was a very nice guy, very accommodating to our group of 8's needs. I would say the bikes were a bit old, but he and our other guide, Brian, had extra batteries as most of our bikes needed to have the battery replaced during the excursion. In addition to that, several of the seats would not stay in place. The areas we went were fun yet a bit challenging (cobble stone streets and then up into the mountains). The restaurant we stopped at for ~90 min. up in the mountains was neat as well. This tour was a bit more taxing on our bodies than we had expected, or that we read it would be. Once you hit the mountain road it turns into a dirt road with rocks so you have to be attentive and we found as we made our way back down to town, our arms were quite tired from having a "death grip" on the handle bars! There were 3 "accidents" by our group, either tipping over or going into the ditch...again, just be aware the ride is for I'd say "active adults". The tour was supposed to be 4 hours but we didn't get back to the shop in town until close to 5 hours and we were offered a tequila tasting at the end which we didn't know about. After 5 hours we had had enough and wanted to go about our other plans in town. Overall the group did enjoy this tour, would we do it again, probably not, but it was a different excursion from what we've done in PVR before.

Nice ride but not easy - Our guides were very nice. We ended up with no one else on our tour so he tailored the ride to our needs. The cobblestone roads were very rough and jolted us pretty hard so we changed course and went and did some shopping in the market instead of continuing up the mountain. It was harder than i thought it would be but the tour and guides was everything as promised.

Customer service was great! Bikes were absolute junk! - Let me first say that the all the people that we spoke to or delt with were super; all were helpful and friendly. This is the only reason they are getting 2/5 instead of 1/5! The bikes that they had look to be 5+ years old and not well maintained. They are fat tire bikes with a front hub motor (uncommon). With a front hub motor the front wheel will slip on loose gravel going up hills as all the weight is in the rear. Also, with the front hub drive, there was no E-assist, only a throttle. It appeared as though they picked the best bikes that they had available for us to ride, my wife's bike from the start wouldn't shift to any higher gear than 3rd and mine had a very loose front end that I pointed out before we left. It seemed like everything on the bikes were a little "loose". My bikes brakes (cable disc brakes) somewhat worked when we left the business, however, during the trip they became less effective with each use until finally on the way back, I had to stop and tell the guide that I wasn't going to ride this bike back as it was too dangerous. I was squeezing both brakes so hard and so long going down the steep hills that my hands hurt. By doing this, it just had me going slow enough to not loose control. There was no way I was going to actually stop the bike if I really needed to. My wife's bike's brakes worked better, but not like they should have. I actually work at a bike shop and had any of their bikes come in for a tune up or repair, our technicians would have told them that they weren't worth repairing. Honestly, there wouldn't have been any components on their bikes worth saving. When I say that the bikes were junk, that's really not describing how bad they were. In spite of the crappy bikes, we had a nice time on our outing, however, it could have been a great day had we even had decent bikes. I cannot recommend this trip until they replace their ageing equipment.

Beautiful place, bad for ebikes! - DO NOT RECOMMEND- Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place but not good for seeing via ebike. The cobblestones badly bruised my tail bone (tough to get in and out of a lounge chair now!) and the mountain road had many potholes, one of which sent me into the dirt and now I'm covered in bruises. 4 out of 7 in the group took a cab down the mountain instead of completing the tour. We did an ATV tour of virtually the same town/mountain route and had a blast- do that one instead!!
