Wonderful day on the water - Amazing time! The crew was absolutely incredible! We did more of a custom tour that was 5 hours, it was very affordable and a great size boat for our group 17!

Entertaining, comfortable and good value - 2nd year in row of booking Mike’s Whale Watching tour. Excellent tour all around, very comfortable,spacious boat with a tremendous crew. Funny, energetic and informative, all you could ask. Open bar if you choose, coffee, snacks and a nice spread of food put out at 11AM. After a slow start, whale sightings were frequent and in a couple cases, very close to boat, providing great entertainment. The Capitan even gave us some bonus time due to activity of whales. Exceeded our expectations in many ways as we know it’s close to end of season for whales, but to our delight they were still here. Even without the whales this is a great way to spend 3-4 hours on the water and would be good value. Highly recommend, and we will go again

Amazing, Fun, and Safe Whale Watching Tour - Our first visit to Puerto Vallarta, with more to come! We chose Mike's for whale watching, and they gave us a fun, educational, safe, and amazing 4 hours on the boat. Directions were clear, check in easy, the crew was all very polite and service oriented to help us relax and have the best time. The food and drinks were also very good, with yummy ceviche and sandwiches. Because the "black Sunday" was a few days before, there might have been fewer people on the boat. But it was still plenty roomy for even more people to have seats in sun or shade, and having toilets was a plus. Our guide was funny and informative, giving enough info in English and Spanish to make it very interesting. The captain took us comfortably out a short distance before we began seeing several groups of humpback whales. The whale activity was amazing, lots of breaching and tail slapping; especially enjoyed seeing a playful calf with its mother. Mike's runs an ethical tour, giving the whales appropriate distance but still making sure we could observe them as much as possible. This was the best whale watching boat we've been on. We felt well cared for and protected in Puerto Vallarta, after the brief, strange events of Sunday which were much less scary than what the fake AI videos made them out to be. Everyone should decide for their family, but we can see there are so many watching out for the tourists they depend on here. Mike's Boat Tours is a great business that wants to take care of its customers. We would recommend coming to Puerto Vallarta, and booking a tour with them.

Good time - We got to see something like 6 or 7 whales in one spot then we were moved to a spot where we got to see a mommy and baby whale. This was fantastic! The boat was comfortable and the staff was very attentive.

Wonderful experience - So friendly and accommodating! Had a great time seeing whales and swimming in the ocean.

Great tour! - Such a fun day! While whale watching can be unpredictable, this tour and the guides made it worth it even if there weren’t as many whales as you might hope. We did end up getting some amazing views of a group of humpbacks from very close toward the end of the tour thanks to the efforts of our captain, but even if we hadn’t we would recommend the tour just for the amazing day spent out on the water with unlimited drinks.

We did see lots of whales, but they were at a distance. - This was the first time I’ve been on a whale watching tour and so I found it quite interesting. The waters in the Bay of Mexico (not the Bay of America) were calm and made our ride out to sea very comfortable. The captain was steady at the helm and worked hard to get us as close to the whales as possible. The crew also while minding our safety was a great deal of fun. The drinks were bountiful and the food was tasty. I would surely recommend this tour.

Horrible - HORRIBLE! Gave us wrong meeting instructions! DID NOT ANSWER PHONE. LEFT WITHOUT US! The port person said there were many others in the same situation with this provider. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!
