Puerto Varas - The group will gather in Puerto Varas to travel by private vehicle to the trailhead in Cochamó. At this point, heavy equipment can be loaded onto horses to ease the 11-kilometer hike to the La Junta campsite. Please note that the horse transport service is not included (60,000 per horse).
Reconnaissance Climb in La Junta
Shark Fin Route Climbing (10 pitches, 525 meters)
Cochamó - For the Shark Fin Route Climbing (10 pitches, 525 meters), the group will rise at 4am to reach the base of the route. Climbers will tackle 6 pitches, or 10 if weather conditions permit. The route difficulty is 5.10, and the group will return to the La Junta campsite by 9pm.
Return from Camping La Junta to Puerto Varas
Cochamó - The group will head back to Puerto Varas. (Please remember that the horse transport service for equipment on the return journey is not included.)
